Hasbro might be cool about it and buy out the team, or they might be giant dicks and sue or give cease and desist when its finished and ready for market
Meh. I'd only main fluttershy, just to see who has the stones to actually hit her and not feel guilty afterword (because i would lay heavily on the guilt).

As neat as this is, I think the potential of Hasbro vs. Capcom is far greater. Transformers, MLP, GI Joe, D&D iconic characters, Magic: The Gathering iconics, probably a dozen other properties. Ryu vs (a shrunken) Optimus Prime, Dan vs Bumblebee, Felicia vs Ajani (either one), Princess Celestia vs Akuma, Guile vs Cobra Commander, Mega Man vs Serpentor, Sgt Slaughter vs Zangief. The possibilities are near limitless. And hilarious.

Well, I always thought an MLP game would be in the style of the Mega Man series. Nightmare Moon returns, her twisted spirit escaping from Luna's mind. Playing as Luna, purge the corruption of Nightmare Moon from the mane cast before taking on posessed Celestia herself.
Echoing the Rarity love! Will absolutely be mane-ing her (geddit... I'll stop), but it'll be such a fantastic experience to play them all! Obviously we're going to see Derpy Hooves, probably Princess Celestia and Princess Luna / Nightmare Moon (alt?), maybe Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle, almost definitely a showing by Spike, possibly Gilda (Rainbow Dash's Griffin "friend"/rival). I'd wouldn't be shocked to see Zecora make an appearance, Chief Thunderhooves would be very cool, "The Great and Powerful" Trixie maybe...
Anyway, it's looking great, I have nothing but good things to say about this endevour! Here's to it being polished, representing spirit of the great show, and a grand success.
On final note, Grand Galloping Gala dresses should be unlockables. I'm not weird right?

The internet has a thing for fan-made fighting games. MUGEN is the best example, but pretty much every animated series has at least one of their very own, just have to know where to look.
