Very well, those shall have to suffice for now, but now for the true reason I came to you. There are forces at work that I must see for myself, even more beings have come to this world and in order to protect my followers I must see them myself to better prepare us should my feelings come true. If something wpuld occur that needs my direct attention use this." The Heirophant gathered a ball of light before him and concentrated, The light condensed into smaller form of a solid white sphere that bore his symbol upon it. "Simply offer your prayer to this and I will hear it. Also, there is a young hunter Agor, I sense much potential in him, so listen to what he has to say and trust him, as I trust you to keep these people safe. And with that The Heirophant faded from view once more and began to move in the direction where he last felt the prescence of other Gods.

Sorry to hear you are still sick Boris. Truly hope you feel better later

((Boris, I'm going to control the satyrs here if that's ok. I just don't want to wait too long to reply...))
The being frowned as she heard the tree she was on rot so unnaturally, its calm light song turning to a somber dirge. It was an interesting power he had over things and explain why she felt so ill, he was like death. Suddenly the branch she was on gave way and she fell to the ground but her satyr arrived in time to catch her, they were fast creaturesglad now to have mocked the god and she was . She smiled in appreciation to her creation and, as it let her stand on the ground, she looked from him to Hices. The creature knew she needed him to help relay what she had to say and he nodded, both hoping they would not regret conversing wit such a dark god. Tell him I am The Muse, ask him his name and who he is. The satyrs were better at interpreting her will than humans, a part of their design, and still had language, "She is Music-" The Sound suddenly whacked the satyr in the chest lightly and gave him a look, "Sorry- The Muse." He rolled his eyes, "She wants to know who and what you are as well as what you want." He said.

Hices watched as she fell. Then was disappointed as she was caught by a beastman of sorts. Suddenly the creature turned to him and spoke. "So, you speak through these beings? You claim to be the Muse? Hmmm... My name is Hices. A good of death and shadows. The inevitable decay. What I want, well. Thats my secret for now." Hices smirked at The Muse. She had power, these creatures were unknown to him. Countless possibilities flowed throughout his sinister mind. He looked once more to the creature beside The Muse. What do you call this creature? He motioned to touch it but pulled back, not yet wanting to strike up hostilities.

What's so good about death and decay? It sounds out of key. Muse sent with the satyr relaying it as, "Uh, she doesn't see what's so good about death, H- Hices..." He stammered, unsettled by this other god, the Sound wondered what he really wanted, a suspicious expression on her lips as she survey this 'Hices'. The creature at her side jumped back dramatically when the god of death motioned to touch him, Muse stepped in front of him and crossed her arms defensively. In response to the question she shrugged in a definitive, 'I dunno' so her herald of sorts replied, "We call ourselves Satyrs." The Sound nodded, Good name... Ask him what his interest in you is. "Why do you care?"

Noticing the creature was frightened, Hices silently conjured shadows to darken the area. They closed in on the group almost oppressing for those not used to it. "Whats not good about death? It happens to everyone, everything will reach that point one day but why does it have to be the end? If you can master death and embrace its powers do you ever truly die? As if to prove a point Hices took the shadows he had conjured and shaped them into a long blackened spear. Suspending it in the air he look to the forest floor, the missile streaked through the air piercing the fur and flesh of a nearby rabbit. It twitched while it died and Hices moved beside the creature. "Just watch" Deciding to make a grand show of this purple and green arcs of lightning launched from Hices hands into the corpse of the rabbit. The energy coursed through its body twisting its flesh. The skin dried and stretched out and its eyes became sunken and black. When the display was done the rabbit once more leapt to its feet. It looked around curiously then continued on it's way. Hices didn't much care what it did. "Don't you see?" He asked, approaching The Muse. Death is is supposed to be the end but if you can control it then it doesn't have to. It's a thing of beauty in itself and nothing to fear. I see it as the same thing you do. You created these 'Satyrs' from wild beasts and and humans did you not? You too augment the natural. Is there really that much of difference between us?" Hices was starting to lose control of himself. The Muse was so similar to her it was terrifying to him, but he couldn't let that on. Tell me Muse, what is it you think of me? Do you see me as a monster? A plague on this earth?"

The Heirophant felt the use of stong powers, interested he began to follow them to their source, further cloaking himself so he did not give off a detectable prescence, He left to observe the new gods and he does so in silence...

The satyr wanted to flee but The Muse calmed him as the shadows became louder, listening to Hices as he tried to persuade her and noted every move he made with suspicion. She almost laughed when he said 'Just watch', a request she could not follow but heard the rabbit die and then it's sound change, turning to something like scratching a key down a piano string and then maintaining a similar, heavy and off key sound to that of the god before her. It disturbed her but when he spoke it intrigued her, this new state of being: A way to stop the universes song from ending perhaps, or even a way to battle The Hush. It still didn't sound right and she didn't like being compared to a god of death and his symphony started to become wild. The Sound contemplated his question, I do not see him at all... His sound is dark, strange. It is in a different key to the rest of the world. "S-She c-can't see you, Hices." The satyr stammered, Muse played a happier song to help even though she knew it displeased Hices, her blind eyes now apparent "But she says you sound dark and... er, out of tune." Ask him what he wants. "What do you want of her?"

Hices was truly stunned. He had honestly expected them to turn tail and flee. Oh well he thought. But when she asked what he wanted... And then trying to help calm him, this shocked the god of death. Perhaps she could help him... But what did she mean by out of tune? "What do I want of you. Well since you asked... I am in need of allies in this world. I've made one enemy at least, of that i'm sure. Perhaps if you were willing aid me we could strike a deal of sorts. His outlook on this situation had changed radically. Another god could greatly bolster his power. Savandrys wouldn't dare attack him then. Then perhaps... Perhaps he could finish her off this time. But when he looked at the Muse thats all he saw. Even though they did not look very similar at all the way her face and essence stayed young and relatively unhindered by his presence reminded him of her. "Of course, if you help me I too would owe you something. What is it that I can offer you?" His eye's blazed brighter then they'd been in decades. Not of anger as they usually did, but of anticipation. He was nervous of her reply. An emotion that sickened him. How could she conjure up all these dead feelings? He turned to the satyr. "Calm yourself wild one, I assure you I mean no harm." With a wave of his hand Hices erased every inch of shadow from the surrounding area, holding it at bay in the distance, a sign of good intention.

The Heirophant was conflicted, he heard what the being calling itself Hices, speaking of death and alliances said and watched the shadows continue to move around the area, blocking his view. He also heard the other being Hices was speaking to, it had a unfamiliar bleating accent to it that meant it was without a doubt made through unnatural means, he could also hear the fear in it's voice. He could not decide if it was proper to intervene or stay quiet and learn of this potential threat.

The Muse had a thoughtful expression on her face as her companion the Satyr shifted uncomfortably on his goat-like legs, this offer was intriguing. This god of decay needed her as an ally, presumably he was part of the war she had heard earlier and it was reassuring for him to dispose of the shadows. The war sounded new and interesting though it brought a lot of death, destruction and sadness which were not what she liked nor what her new people had been created for. However, if what he had said was true then the deaths could be reversed if only into something unnatural. The hunger of his voice disturbed her, the satyr was shocked that she was considering this but perhaps there was a way to use him to stop The Hush. Ask him about the specifics of the deal, what he needs. The satyr shot her a glance but did as told, "What would this deal involve? What do you require of her?" He asked grugingly though The Muse had not yet agreed to anything.

Hices silently noted the look on The Muses face and the look the satyr shot at her. It seemed the two did not agree on something. "It is as I said before. I require allies in this world. Listen to it. Already you can begin to hear it's cries can you not? War is coming and everyone will have a role to play. All I require of you is a promise of aid should the time come when I would need such aid. In exchange I offer you the same. I can also promise to keep my people from killing your Satyrs should they encounter any in the woods. Should you ever seek refuge, my walls will be open to you and your people. So long as you can stand whatever aura I give off for I am certain my people will echo the same."

Alright guys i'm out for the night. I'll try and reply to anything that concerns me before I head to work in the morning. I am enjoying this though so hopefully it keeps going. Good night everyone!

((Heh, glad you liked it... Good night.))

The god could protect her satyrs and let them have all the fun they wanted, make beautiful music. The war made interesting sounds too, even now and so The Muse made up her mind, nodding to the satyr whom seemed a little less objectionable having heard a promise to stop people from killing them, though he still was unsure. "The Muse agrees..." He sighed and she took a dead branch from the tree Hices had destroyed, singing to it until it transformed into an odd, dark patterned flute. She handed it to the god, Tell him that if he plays this flute I will hear and come to him. "Play music on it and The Muse will come to your aid." The being signaled that the satyr could go and do as he please, preferably something mischievous, as she hoped the death god would not realise what power music had over her. The Sound ran from Hices, gradually building up speed as she escaped his sickly aura and her hair turning to black. She unwittingly sprinted right past The Heirophant as he hid.

Hices took the flute in his hands yet before he could make mention of a thanks The Muse was gone. He quickly examined the instrument and then tucked it into his robes. He was glad that she left. His emotions were settling down already and he was beginning to reclaim control of himself. Well, I have my side of the bargain to deal with He thought as he turned and started to head towards his peoples land. Going over what just happened.

The Heirophant, concerned with what he just saw, uncloaked himself now that the others were gone. The God Hices, having made a pact with The Muse, now had a disturbingly close connection to his own village. He saw what his powers could do, but those that he brought back would be mereley empty shells upon ressurection. He also wondered why The Muse would be so easily brought into a deal with him that will enevitably end with disaster, but she made this pact and the outcome will be her own to resolve.

"I would like to speak to your god."

Brunt said with a smile on his face.

Hices sensed the disturbance in his new home. His leisurely stroll vanished as he took the skies, travelling like a lightning bolt of darkness. He came crashing into the town square beside the man that didn't belong. "Speak quickly. For you are no mortal and you don't belong here.

"I do not wish for conflict brother, or anything to ruin so as we both deserve the treatment for what we are... But I have a request for you, you have something of great value to me and I wish for the returning of it."

Brunt has a sadden voice

"Please return my people that you captured."
