Can't help feel this would be more poignant if there had been perhaps some build-up, though I'm not sure as to whether this is to do with it being only released twice a week (by escapist edict), or it's apparant lack of chronology, I'd recomend checking out something like QC or Roomies for how to really tug on heartstrings
