1. Let The Right One In and Let Me In, two fantastic movies telling a similar story.

2. Fight Club. Rule 1 and Rule 2

3. Sin City, the first comic book movie that was not afraid to be a comic book movie.

4. Social Network. Mesmerizing from start to finish. Jesse Eisenberg was amazing.

5. Watchmen. An amazing movie all around made especially excellent by the fearless performance of Jeffery Dean Morgan and most especially Jackie Earle Haley. Fact. If Haley was not good in this movie, nobody would watch it.

6. The Wrestler. Micky Rourkes ultimate comeback.

7.Natural Born Killers. Woody Harrelson, Robert Downey Jr. Mindless violence with quite the mind. Amazing film.

8. The Crow, combines action, romance, and depth in one of the best movies of the nineties.

9. Silence of the Lambs. The best film of the nineties.

10. Suspiria. Creepiest. Score. Ever.

Those who almost made it.

I like your list. I'd leave off Natural Born Killers and The Crow with any two of the three that almost made it. But a very solid list IMO.

1: Fight Club: That movie literally changed my life. It inspired me to not worry so much about life. Seen it at least 40 times.

2: Mr Brooks: This movie is hated by many... but I love it to no end.

3: Memento: Elegantly created and brilliantly written.

4: The Prestige: Another Nolan film, just as brilliant as Memento.

5: Anchorman: My favourite comedy ever, closely followed by...

6: Hot Tub Time Machine: Side splitting from start to finish... albeit ridiculous.

7: The Matrix: Blows my mind in a new way every time I watch it.

8: The Castle: Classic Australian comedy, no other country will ever appreciate it though.

9: Jumper: Yes, I know, everyone else thinks it's shit... but I love the concept of teleportation, and the lack of the "Great power = great responsibility" mindset.

10: Star Trek: Was never a fan of the old series, but this movie inspired me to want to watch them all.
