Naughty Dog: Uncharted 2 'Impossible' On Xbox 360

Considering drakes is a ps exclusive it doesn't really matter that it won't be coming to 360. It prob wouldn't be porting over reguardless of tech specs. However, saying that nobody cares is unfair. Drakes was awesome. And personally i'm looking forward to it. SInce these two systems launcehd we ALL saw this day coming. Don't lie to yourselves. I'm not choosing sides here *sigh* but if this statement is true it was just a matter of time before the ps3 starting musceling out bigger games that require bigger specs.

Also total BS from the dev, you could easily REWRITE the game for XBox with reduced scale, detail & size. Blatant imbecilic propaganda like this should end careers. Because as a business minded individual Im thinking him & his team arent very good coders if they cant port their title ? Why would developer lock itself onto one platform only unless they didnt have the skill base to transfer from one platform to the other.

So what you are saying is you could play a version of Uncharted with less audio, poorer graphics, and overall less content?
Isn't that defeating the point of being able to play the game? I hardly think that saying "The 360 could play the game if everything was worse" constitutes as playing the game, but more backs up what the dev was saying...
I didn't hear anyone say back in the day "Oh Halo: CE could totally be played on the PS2 if everything was made worse on it." Just a weird comment to make. If it can't play the game as it is, it can't play it, simple as that.

It has happened before though. A game was made worse to play on a different console or hand held device.

The only downgrades I've played was Ghost Recon 2 for the PS2, and Call of Duty 2 for the Xbox. Damn, they were the worst games I've ever played. In my opinion, downgrading a game is always a bad idea.

They downgraded Oblivion to play on the PS3 and 360 and those played well.

I have it on ps3 and i think it's shit. It was good for the first hour or so when you are exploring the submarine but after that it got boring and reminded me of Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider. Even if it did come to xbox, it wouldn't sell much. It only sold loads for ps3 because it was an early game.

Man, Xbox fanboys jumped on this one like angry bears. If Uncharted is so incredibly loathed/dismissed by Xbox'ers then why all the angry responses? Like Halo, Uncharted doesn't do anything new but what it does do has been polished to a mirror shine. The problem with the comment from Naughty Dog is that even if it were true, it would never be recognized as such simply because it comes from a 1st party Sony company.

Be that as it may, Uncharted [http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/ps3/uncharteddrakesfortune?q=Uncharted%20Drake%27s%20Fortune] is still considered a damn good game and was one of the flagship titles for the PS3. You may not personally be interested in it, but it is highly anticipated and many people are looking forward to it, myself included.

Those are dual-layered disk, I'm assuming Uncharted 2 uses a standard single layered disk.
