What poor Internet Etiquete do you suffer from, if any?

On the Escapist I have a tendency to see a wall of text and quick read, which is very bad on my part I know, but I only do it with the OP's of the thread. After that I'll make a crap comment and then read the replies to the original thread to gauge how the thread is going.

I blame the speed of the internet for turning me into such an ignoramous.

I also have a morbib curiousity with people who have been banned/probated and what not, if I see someone with "user was put on probation for BLAH BLAH" I can't help but to click that link to see what the dilly yo... I click it hard to, like it matters.

So do you have dirty little net habbits you'd rather keep secret?

If I don't have any idea what's actually going on in a thread, I'll make an incredibly vague comment like I actually get it.

That's kind of the same as me, except on the Short Story Thread, where I actually take the time out to read the Walls'O'Text there. I always click the links too :)

I also use smilies a hell of a lot when there's no need, but I refuse to become one of the Grammar Nazis. However, I do prefer reading text rather than /b/-1337-talk...

Whenever there's a wall of text, I just give up. Also, I always try and get my comment on the first page.

Yeah, I'm an attention whore like that.

Also I never look at comments made by people who share the same avatar as other people.... even though I like trivun but I hate all other users using the ZP imp.

Damn it I'm rubbish at this whole internet thing, no one can see my comments right?.

Oh, I've got another one. I either just skim over or outright ignore posts that are illegible due to poor spelling/grammar or look like they're just bashing something for no reason other than to hate it.

I do that quick read thing too.
I know you said some other things, but I scanned over them too quickly.

But yeah, I also share that ban/probation curiosity. That and I am unable to not click links.
My curiosity will kill me some day. I just know it.

My cyber manners are impeccable, as far as I know.

I do tend to get a bit belligerent if someone who is obviously WRONG tries arguing with me, though
To think you are perfect is un ethical, I grade you a D in ethical studies.
see my above comic for your second paragraph.

I tend not to read topics that have more than 3 pages of replies, I can't be bothered reading them unless the topic is interesting. Also I tend not to read giant walls of text.

Oh chill out, I'm talking about my manners, not my body, looks and personality.

[Edit:] And your comic...? That is me, yes :)
I never mentioned your body, you did.

UN ETHICAL HEATHEN! i say.

I totally said it.

walls of text really are hard to read. i mean, hard on my eyes so i scan the first and last words of a sentence and i get the gist of it.

makes for a fun game

I don't have many bad habits that I know of. My biggest ones are leaving out some punctuation marks and I typically write how I speak (using words and phrases such as 'I unno' and 'aiight')

I am a grammar Nazi to a fair extent. I also don't read the comments in the middle of the page sometimes, I'll usually read the top 5, hit page down, read the last few, and then post...
