Wasn't there supposed to be two "DLC" titles available (originally) earler this year that would detail what happened in Rome or something like that? I remember most people speculating that they'd be charged either full price or half price of a full game for them, and being pissed.

Hmm, I'm on the fence about this. Multiplayer sounds fun-ish, but won't win me over unless it's local. I'll just wait and see when more info is released.

Damn, so many games coming out that look awesome. Thank God ME1&2 will tide me over until then.

Exactly.. I love just running around in AC2 so if they can capture that and will let me have the tools from 2 i will be happy no matter what else.

I would rather the production money be put towards the next full game, not a multiplayer title.

Damn all of you who want great single player games to be multiplayer!!!!

As I calm down, and think this through... I guess it could be ok, this might be a stand alone pvp thing. As long as the next installment of Assassins Creed is not hijacked like bioshock 2 and force an online multiplayer component, I guess I can accept this.

I'll admit to being interested in where this is going, but you're right.... Every single godamn game I get these days seems waayyy too focused on multiplayer >_<

I blame this for the terribly short and rather disappointing Splinter Cell: Conviction

It is a single player game but it has a multiplayer mode that has been said to work really well.
