I'm looking forward to this, seems like they have the right mindset to make a quality sequel.

Say whaaaaaa? Bodacious! Is it just me who thinks new movies and rereleases (Looking at you, Back To The Future.) are stupid? I see no point in them other than nostalgia milking. If they're remade you can bet your arse it's because of a greedy executive, and one of them are the last people you want handling your favourite classics.

Create a sequel decades after the timeless classic? [a href="http://home.hccnet.nl/p.boel/star%20wars%20episode%201%20the%20phantom%20menace.jpg"]What could possibly go wrong?[/a]

Why make a sequel? The two films are fine on their own.
I kind of like the idea. The first was fine on its own. The second was kind of like one of the characters had a bad acid trip. I would like to see how they end up becoming the saviors of humanity:making bowling scores way up, and mini-golf scores way down.

First we got to see this fabled Cowboy Bebop movie with Keanu as Spike. If Alex Winter needs work I'm sure he can be in it too. He kind of looks like the anime interpretation of a white guy anyway.
Alex Winter actually does a lot of behind the camera work, he's certainly not as famous as his friend and cohort, Keanu Reeves. But he's not slacking about in cheesy comedy clubs trying to make a buck o' nine as the "Bill and Ted" guy. I mean if that were the case, we'd have seen him on celebrity boxing, wouldn't we?
So he is.
I kind of figured that was the case but you inspired me to go look on IMDB. I see he's directing the remake of The Gate. That I wouldn't mind seeing either.
I just wonder if they'll make the demonic guide a video game instead of the heavy metal album they used in the 80s. Nobody really blames deviant youth on heavy metal anymore.

Was there anyone clamoring for a third Bill and Ted movie? Don't get me wrong, it was okay, but let's not forget it was the catalyst that would eventually blight the world with the existance of Keanu Reeves.

Honestly, it seemed like a silly move. That said, I can predict hundreds of people will go see it because they enjoyed the first 2. Kinda strange to see how far Keeanu Reeves has gone. He went from a long haired air guitaring teenager to the One.

And now he's come full circle to a (possibly) long-haired, air guitaring middle-aged man. Looks like Neo decided to go for the iridescent pill.

Wait, is that why I'm scared? [sub]Probably...[/sub]

Just like with the new Adams Family that's being done by that moron Tim Burton, nothing good can come from this.

Because they want to and will probably get my money out of it?
Well duh. I'm thinking from an artistic/story standpoint.

And actually, being that it's so long since the second movie came out it's hardly guaranteed that they'd make money off of it. In fact it seems like a pretty out-there choice for a legitimate franchise sequel. If they wanted to milk it I'd think a modernized reboot would be a safer bet.
