None of you can keep your definitions straight amongst yourselves, so why are you asking me to define them? Do you want me to define Fox's socialism? Revnek's? Silvanus's? Earcaraxe's? Buyetyen's? Kae's? Hell, I have no idea what yours is since you don't post much.
For such a collectivist ideology there's an awful lot of individualist takes on it. Makes one wonder what would happen if you no longer had a common enemy. Wonder what means one would need to use to have their definition be the "correct" one.
I mean, this is a game about the Cold War that opens with a recording of a former Soviet talking about how it works. Wouldn't one say it's relevant?
I mean, besides the likely incoherent politics, what's to talk about besides "how shit is the story going to be", which likely ties into the former, or "how bad are the micro transactions?".

There is reason why whenever I make thread, I set up guidelines to prevents this. On my threads, you can divert a little bit, if it's all in good fun and not intentional hurting others. If this was a Metal Gear game, I'd give it the benefit of the doubt they were gonna have discussions about Communist psychological warfare in between poop jokes, guys being possessed by clone arms and a woman who "breathes through her skin" to justify her stripper outfit, but CoD doesn't have that credibility.

You're the one that asked whether I'm talking about socialism or communism. With the number of different interpretations of what people call socialism there's no reason to consider communism some separate thing when it's no more different than those interpretations that are called socialism.
I am decidedly against big centralized governments and companies. I guess if I were to put a name to my leanings then I guess I'd be a libertarian, that or some version of anarchist. I'm not subscribed to a particular political group, though I suppose I'll soon have to be if the world keeps going the way it is.

To get this drive back on topic Activision is charging $70 for next gen versions. Hope you all have fun with that when you want to buy it on PS5 for X series x. Because I ain't paying shit.
The increase in price was inevitable, as will be the reaction from the public to it.
Every big publisher starts doing this, they can have fun waiting for a sale, if I want to buy it. Like I said before, I've been done with most major publishers. More so on the western side. If the Sony exclusive start doing this too, then the PS5 can wait even longer for me.
Mm. Only big publisher I still have trust in is Nintendo. Everything else I've played in the last few years has been from smaller studios.
It'll eventually drop to $30 or so. I can wait. If it doesn't, that's fine, I have other COD games I can replay if I really need a shooty bang bag grenade fix.
And I got a whole bunch of shooting games better than cod to look forward to or I already have them.
I mean, also that. That reminds me, I still have Prey(the new one) and Doom(also the new one) in my library I haven't touched. And Serious Sam 4 is coming out soon, so I'm good on that front for a bit.
Having seen the story trailer for this game, any sort of (admittedly meager) anticipation for this game evaporated upon seeing that it's gonna be a "mid-queal" game between Blops 1/2 and when that ol skin bag Reagan came out. My only sliver of hope is that the agent Perseus ends up being Reagan at the end and we have a ridiculous shirtless, bare knuckle brawl with him aboard a sinking aircraft carrier or some silly shit.
Honestly forgot about that ending, lol, was more going for a Metal Gear Rising: Revengence (jesus, what a fucking name) type ending, with Mason or whatever his name is getting punted into LEO and Reagan yelling something about tearing down his walls.
Oh fuck, brainwave: tag team cage wrestling match between Reagan/Gorbachev and our white bread heroes.
I still wish to visit the timeline where we got a full Silent Hill game directed by Kojima. Damn that would have been his jam.
