Cool, when you decided to die at 35, I'll just take all your shit. Thanks guy!AndyFromMonday said:You're all a bit optimistic to be honest. If such a drug were ever to be produced it would only be available to the rich and ultra rich. Discrimination galore I guess.

I think it would really depend on how much is costs to make and how abundant the resources to make it are.SmashLovesTitanQuest said:Disagreed. I think it would be made available to the "middle" class. To make the rich get richer, of course.AndyFromMonday said:You're all a bit optimistic to be honest. No, the idea is that these drugs will be able to force the body to repair itself. Which, as far as I know, has only been able to work in the nervous system (As a treatment for Alzheimer's). Anyway, if this does work, you won't look all shriveled up, you will look as you do normally. Except you won't be able to do normal things, because you will experience bone decay at the same rate that you do now, so when you try to run every bone in your legs and in your back will break. Seems sort of far fetched.Ruwrak said:Question number 1
Do I really wanna live to 150 years?
Question number 2
-HOW- exactly will I be living till 150 years? I can't imagine me looking all shrivled up and still living like I should be right?
And then of course, why do we keep meddeling with nature's course?
Everything is supposed to die sometime right?
So basicall I'll look good but still be in a wheelchair because of fragile bones for the coming 70 years then? Hrm. I think I still prefer death at 80brainslurper said:No, the idea is that these drugs will be able to force the body to repair itself. I don't understand how they expect to make this work at all, originally it was intended to help old people's brains not fall apart, but the idea that it can keep our organs working for 70 more years is beyond me. And definitely beyond the 10 years they say we are going to have to wait for this.Ruwrak said:So basicall I'll look good but still be in a wheelchair because of fragile bones for the coming 70 years then? Would be nice to see everything still clear and remember everything properly. Mmm... But I think those years in a wheelchair or in bed is to much.
exactly. i'd rather have something like In Time. i wouldnt want to need a second home for my medication, and showers of anti-wrinkle cream.Ruwrak said:Question number 1
