What. The. Frell. How does this even make any sense at all. Do the lobbyists really have that much power over the government?

Country's corporate run now, and going to hell fast.
Yep. To be expected when electing representatives that propagate the Corporate Agenda.

Hell, I'm surprised we're still allowed basic human rights.

Wow. I've actually passed the point where I feel ashamed to live in the U.S.

Seriously, what the fuck?

EDIT: So it turns out its all a misunderstanding. Good.

Oh wow talk about complete and utter bullshit. Way to devalue the watch list Pennsylvania. You'd think there be some over-sight of the list to prevent bullshit like this. It's a wonder Al Gore didn't end up on it after his documentary if that's all it takes..

I wonder if he could sue them for having a negative impact on his job, doesn't the watch list put some travel restrictions on you or something? Pretty nasty for an actor that might be flying all over the place for interviews/etc.

*rolls eyes* Sounds a bit silly to me, unless the FBI know something we don't about this man that gives them a legitimate reason to put him on a watchlist.

My tutor last year, an American, was put on a watchlist because she had wrote academic papers on Al-Qaeda.

To all Americans here...

Do you realise that your entire corrupt and fascist power structure is making the rest of the world HATE you. :/

YOU have become the world's demons.. not communism, socialism or even the so called 'terrorist' threat.
And the rest of the world is perfect. Thank you for your enlightening message.
But the rest of the world doesn't flagwave and claim to be the 'light of right' the way you do.
Strange... Can you pull up a time when I've even supported one of this country's decisions? Do you have definitive proof that I have ever "waved my flag" claiming that my country is undoubtedly superior to any other country?

Personally, I would rather live in Canada than in the US. Unfortunately, I have too much going on in my life right now to be able to just up and leave the country. Perhaps when I'm a bit older and have things more under control.

Generalizations are a fickle *****. The worst part about them is that they usually just render your arguments and points completely invalid.

Good show!

You have to start doing something.
Hey, we're trying but our old people are unimaginably horrible and vote in huge numbers.

My last word and I'll leave the thread.

Americans... THIS is the very reason you are allowed to bear arms.... The founders of your once great country left you a document that you all worship STATING POINT BLANK that if any future government of yours ever prepetrated the crimes that yours is now doing, you had the GOD GIVEN RIGHT AND DUTY to shoot them all dead and take back your country by force.

Think on that... it's the very freedom your country was built around.

Just recognised him from Shutter Island, I like, can't wait for Avengers unless Thor sucks (which it probably will). As to the topic: That's hilarious.

Damn baby-boomers... If there weren't so many of them things may actually be better. But we have a crapload of old people out of touch with everything and they're screwing everything up.

Of course thats just a silly generalization, but dammit this whole thing is just silly!

Oh so now if you tell something that the government doesn't like but which is the truth, you'll be made a terrorist. Is this the new method to control the people who don't think the same as the government?
I can see where this is going. Soon the politicians won't try to convince the people to vote for them with promises but with threats: "If you don't vote for us you'll be made a criminal."

Welcome to the global dystopia, guys! Seriously, on the terror list for speaking out against a corporation?

Did any sane person seriously not expect this to happen?

Sure, just as soon as my shows are over.

Ned Grossberg: "A full belly and a diverting show makes a bad revolutionary, Harriet. Television is the opiate of the people. Long may it be so."
Harriet Garth: "Grossberg... what the hell do you do for a conscience?"
Ned Grossberg: "Occasionally I rent one."

Does this mean he's on the no fly list as well? If so it's going to throw a major monkey wrench into his film career.
