The way your country is acting now is just like it did during the cold war. Let me guess, you often have news of "Terrorist plan thwarted" this and that every day, right? Terror this, terror that. It's just like the damn cold war where there were "Russian Operatives" found all over the place.

There were news stories in the cold war of University kids "feeing information to the Russians" and stuff like that all the time. It's designed to keep you afraid and I'll bet you a massive chunk of it all is pure propaganda. Honestly, I have an interview with Microsoft coming up this Thursday but I think I'm going to decline a job offer with them to stay in Canada if they make one.

This is why I really tend to no longer pay attention to these types of discussions. Right now, America is on top of the "hate irrationally" list. Has our country done some questionably bad things? Sure. We've made mistakes. Still do. Are we the ONLY country/government doing it? No. We're just the big boy on the block, and when you are the most noticed, you become the biggest target, the source of jealousy confused with anger at things most people have little capacity or knowledge to truly even understand let alone approve of.

Celebrities always play this "I'm not a role model, what people do or say because of me isn't my fault!" but in reality it is. Whether or not Mr. Ruffalo FEELS he has done nothing by expressing an opinion, however misguided, the reality is that there ARE people with questionable levels of sanity who might be swayed by his words or actions to do something themselves. This works both ways. Bono has reached thousands, maybe millions of people on the issue of Aids in Africa and I doubt ANYBODY would question his effect on getting people to think and mobilize to do stuff about it. Sean Penn has lent his voice and support to pro homosexual agendas and helped create awareness about gay tolerance. So why should we assume that these people can't have a negative impact? Charles Manson heard the Beatles tell him to create a race war. The Beatles didn't intend to, but it was still Manson's motivation to escalate his crazy ass plans. The same can be here as well... Gangster rap suggests a lifestyle that creates an image that young ignorant teen wannabe gangsters try to aspire to.

If someone does something to one of these companies, if they take a violent action and they say "I was inspired by Mark Ruffalo's movie, words, character, blog, etc" I garuntee Mr. Ruffalo and his lawyers are going to be trying to deny and condemn that person as much as humanly possible without accepting ANY blame, even though the person specifically stated that it was due to HIS influence.

At any rate, a terrorist watch list is just that... a WATCH list. It doesn't necessarily mean that Mark Ruffalo is a terrorist. But it does mean that some suspect people might attempt to approach him or make contact with him to create a relationship, even if it's just as an inspirational figurehead to their "movement".. an idol. THAT is what they are really watching for. No one expects Ruffalo himself to go blow anything up. Least of all the box office.

I actually saw this documentary on HBO not long ago. And I can safely say he did nothing wrong, illegal, or even pushing the boundaries other than going from place to place and showing how natural gas really isn't that safe or clean as an industry and the damage fracking does to the environment and people around it (some people go blind or lose their sense of small or taste).

A) The war was called Operation Iraqi Freedom at the very beggining. The claims of WMD's were obviously false, but it was called Iraqi Freedom at the very beggining.
