im curious hows is that keyboard add on for the ps3 controller? why not get that instead?

It works really well, and is completely 1000x better than whatever is in that picture.

Honestly, just connect a USB or bluetooth keyboard and use it to type. The PS3 uses the keyboard for all input dialogs already. If the game developers allow the use of a keyboard. Then just use a god damn USB/Bluetooth keyboard when you want to type.

I'd be willing to use a keyboard I have and put the controller down when I want to type. OR better yet? Use voice chat for more important things. What a concept.

You can run smoothly 90% of MMOs on any PC bought within the last 3 years. And you can run 75% of MMOs on laptops bought within the last 3 years.

Note that the 90% of MMO's list doesn't include any of the "10% best MMO's" list.

WoW won't run smoothly on 1080p resolution with a healthy number of addons in some places like Dalaran on a 3 year old computer, unless it costed 1500$ 3 years ago, which is still 3 times more than a launch priced console. Consoles are just more convenient and cheaper to play games on, and there is nothing stopping a MMO from making a combo based complex combat system that won't require more keys than a gamepad while keeping it as complex as a PC MMO.

And yes, Aion is on the "best MMOs", tell me one F2P game better than it.

Oh, and last time I checked, free things in 99% of the cases (based on experience) suck and get boring after few hours. THE ONLY exception to that rule is Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.

Enemy territory is as close to a MMORPG as George Bush to being competent politician. And you did mention "a dozen F2P MMOs" as being on the 10% best MMO's list and then dissed Aion, so one would conclude from your statement that those 12 F2P MMO's are better than Aion according to you, thats why I did the comparison.

And I would never even remotely consider Runes of Magic better than Aion.

You didn't say "F2P MMO better than Aion". You said just "F2P better than Aion". Check it if you don't believe me.

Also, basically all F2P MMOs except for Runes of Magic, Dungeons and Dragons Online and Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine suck badly. Heck, even they don't come CLOSE to being good because of their shops.

Oh, and you seem to have some problems with my post. When I said "90% of the MMOs" I meant "almost all MMOs except for Aion, WAR, AoC, Global Agenda and badly programmed ones like Champions Online with horrible FPS issues or Fallen Earth with ugly graphics and huge requirements out of space".

You want good free MMOs? Named them already. Good MMOs in general? WoW for PvE, Ragnarok Online for PvP, City of Heroes/Villains for Roleplaying (or Champions Online if you like that setting more), WAR apparently has bounced-back to being a decent PvP game, and although I hate saying this, people consider GW a MMO and it is a pretty God damn awesome game. A lot better than Aion in every single way. PvP more balanced and tactic-based, plot more interesting and bigger... like, 3 times the size of Aion's plot, PvE has more dungeons and content in general (and more challenge, especially with Hard Mode)...
