I don't think "shocking" has the same meaning for us as it does for Nintendo. We're expecting this big innovation or change, while Nintendo is probably just adding a new type of crappy Pokemon Contest or something.the_tramp said:How about the shock announcement that they're changing system and developing the games for the PSP? With first person battling in real time? Heh, obviously not but I'm just trying to figure out what 'shocking' is...
I had Blue back in the day and dabbled in gold and platinum having borrowed them with fleeting interest, however I am enjoying HeartGold a lot.
Edit: Or even a move to the PS3 that is spread over 3 Blu-Rays to take advantage of *full 3D up the arse*

I do believe that was what Pokemon Ranger was.Quaidis said:It would be nice to have an Adventure-style Pokemon. Like Zelda, except instead of collecting tools to help you solve puzzles and get through dungeons, you fight and collect pokemon that will help roughly the same way. Not Pikachu boots or anything, but maybe use Pikachu's electrical attack to send a bolt that lights up _ amount of something to move platforms, etc. Maybe less like Zelda and more like WildArms then.......
That is my hope, even more so than a MMORPG.
I still maintain my statement. I haven't enjoyed SoulSilver as much as I enjoyed Red/Yellow. Still great though.Mr. Fister said:mikecoulter said:Nothing can beat the first generation.
And I do believe that 5th gen will be a 3DS title. Nintendo seems to have something released with every new major system to get people to buy it right from the start, and Pokemon would certainly accomplish that.
Ah! I am behind on the times, it seems.Crabturtleking said:I do believe that was what Pokemon Ranger was.Quaidis said:It would be nice to have an Adventure-style Pokemon. This right here. SO so much.Antibody said:Legendaries are useless when battling other people because people will just assume you're some kid who couldn't be bothered to train non-uber Pokemon, and the more legendaries there are, the fewer Pokemon there are that you can actually battle with.
