Never heard of him, but he can't possibly be worse than Tobey Maguire. Heck, long as his balls have actually dropped, he's already got a step-up on Maguire. I also hope they stop with the bad "finding reasons for Spiderman to lose his mask" trend from the original trilogy. "They have to show the actors emoting" my ass. A good director would find a way around it, or just deal with it. I was there to see Spiderman, not some whiny dork who'd fit better in some bad TV drama (also, I was there to see Venom, not close-ups of Eric Foreman with funky tendrils around his face).
Yeah... nothing but hate for the Spiderman movies. Well okay, I liked the second... kinda. Only because they did a good job with Doc Ock.
