Faux Noise is not news. It's a network of liars, racists and fear-mongers that caters to negative IQ people, who watch it because it strokes their egos. Anyone who watches it deserves to be lied to.

So, you love overgeneralizing people you don't like?

Have you ever watched Faux Noise? Have you ever compared the stories to stories about the same thing run by other media companies? We're talking about the company that takes satirical stories from the Onion and runs them, claiming that they're totally true (and most of the time not even mentioning that they took it from another site.) That's just one example.

No, I don't enjoy "over-generalizing" people I don't like. I just tell the truth. I'm sorry I may have hurt your feelings, but...It's proven fact that people who watch Faux Noise are consistently lied to. There was a study on this very website a couple days ago.

Internet slap fights are fun. Okay but seriously, it would really help your argument for the fact that you may be a level-headed and fair person if you stopped calling them "Faux Noise". It's just stupid, like calling Microsoft M$ and feeling like you're stickin' it to the Man. I don't like them that much either (although O'Reilly and Beck have given me quite a few laughs), but most American news outlets are extremely one-sided. FOX just does a bad job of hiding the crazy. They do run shit stories (the Mass Effect one is a good start) but, again, so does every other news outlet. It's just that this outlet is likely the most viewed in America. It is an over-generalization to say that it's a network of racists or to say that their viewers have low-IQs. You can quit riding the "FOX News Sucks" bandwagon any time you want.

If you keep talking that kind of sense, Jesus, I'm probably going to end up converting to Christianity.

And of course, having an edit to the OP three pages in is a total oversight to boot. You're right though; Ha ha, we all expected to get another firefight over whether or not our opinions of Fox network content being the bottom of the barrel are justified only to find out that CNN might be slipping in to join them.

Because it's totally unbelievable that another network might adopt the "Shoot first, broadcast second, think eventually" practice that Fox is notorious for, a tactic that has served them well so far seeing as how their questionable broadcasting has actually remained on air.

Ugh... This is the reason I only watch BBC, at least they're normally not too biased. Most others I find follow this policy.

This is my favorite part... People running with misinformation they got from a news outlet about a story that's about people in a news outlet running stories that are giving out misinformation.

And one more thing...PARENTS DO YOU FUCKING JOB! Check the age ratings and those little symbols that says what i might contain.

Or take a course in Child Development and realize that those ratings are fairly pointless since playing video games and real world response are not strongly correlated. A kid playing Halo with all other things being equal is no more dangerous than a kid not playing halo with all other things being equal.

But learning is hard :/. I prefer knee jerk reactions to things. (In no way attacking your point of course).

Basically if every time you turn on "Child sexing for Dummies" and see them talking about sexing children you begin to assume that anytime someone mentions new information about sexing children that it's from that station.

In this case it was a really retarded news story, CNN >is< BS, but come on is that really who you'd think of first when you hear something absolutely retarded on the news?

Special Advice: Don't get that channel on your satellite programming, it seems great since it comes free with the History channel but it's TOTALLY not worth the price of admission (because as we all know anyone who watches the History channel these days should be punished.)

I can't stand 24 hour news, but where Fox is being actively destructive by lying, CNN is actively destructive by providing news that is less informative than Entertainment Weekly.

I don't give a crap that Justin Bieber got a haircut, or that band X is on Itunes, or that the queen of England farted. I want you to bring up actual news. I want to know some guy has been locked in solitary for 7 months without a trial. I want to know how hard persons A-Z worked to fight healthcare for the first responders.

I want to know what votes are going on for what bills.

But CNN doesn't do that and they haven't for a while. They just start talking about plastic surgery and options provided for weight loss (of which none were exercise).

I'm not making that up either. Plastic Surgery was the topic of discussion on CNN when I was at ToGo's.....Whereas at least at that same time Fox was lying about Democrats. At least that was kinda related to something relevant :/.
