Life becomes art? No, art is becoming life.

Anastasiya Shpagina (a.k.a Fukkacumi) is a 19 year old girl from Ukraine whose true muse is "Valerie Lukyanova, the 21-year-old who sparked controversy in the spring by using plastic surgery and photo retouching to become a real-life Barbie." The two girls are close friends, in fact.

Anastasiya reportedly weighs only 90 lbs and is looking to get cosmetic surgery on her eyes and to tighten her waist.

This links to the news story which includes a 6 minute video showing her putting on her Flower Fairy anime face.

You're getting creepier by the day, Captcha.

Valerie Lukyanova is back, and this time she's taking PAYCHECKS!!!

From the article linked below:

*******************

The picture is from the new issue of V magazine, which flew Lukyanova, known as "the human Barbie," to New York for the shoot, proving her existence and giving us a glimpse into her bizarre brain.

Twenty-one-year-old Lukyanova refers to herself as "most famous woman of the Russian-speaking Internet" and often uses the alias "Amatue," which means sun goddess.[footnote]Does that make her related to Daystar? Inquiring minds WANT TO KNOW![/footnote] She hails from the Moldavian city of Tiraspol, and currently has 466 videos uploaded to her YouTube account with over 16 million views and 535,000 Facebook fans.

So what is the average day like for a human Barbie like Lukyanova? "In the morning I work on my face and I get a massage, then I spend some time on the Internet," she tells V magazine. "I meditate and travel in my astral body, and after that I work out at the gym. I go for a walk with my best girlfriend, I get home, and I make dinner for the man I love. Then I spend some more time on the Internet, do some reading and meditating, and go to bed." Yup, all in a day's work.

While clearly she values her appearance, she insists that her inner self is far more important. So in addition to maintaining her intense beauty routine, Lukyanova is focusing on her spiritual journey. In fact, she says she's a teacher at the School of Out-of-Body Travel. (We looked it up-as bizarre as it sounds, there is one textbook available on Amazon and an online course We're wondering if she's actually paid, and perhaps this is how she makes a living as a YouTube star and professional living doll.) To elaborate, she told V, "It's an international school in which our instructors show students how to leave their physical body and travel in their spiritual body, where you can visit any place on the planet and in the universe. I know that this is the future of mankind and that it has huge potential."

Speaking of potential, Lukyanova is also actively pursuing a music career in the unknown-to-us "new age opera" genre. She says she writes most of her work during meditation and astral travels, and counts music by Sarah Brightman and Enigma amongst her influences. "Sometimes I can write a piece in one breath, in as little as five minutes," she tells V. Another dubious unknown talent of Lukyanova: "I'm a professional mountain climber."

She may be real, but it's clear Lukyanova is from another planet.

*******************

OP's Note: In the comments from the earlier story I said that chances are that she was in this for the money. It looks like I wasn't far off from being right.

Being a mystic I personally find it interesting to hear about this School of Out-of-Body Travel. I've known people I trust who say they've experienced OOB travels before. I'm not exactly expecting it to be more than silliness, this School of hers. I'll get back to the rest of you once I've looked it up.

Yeah. Just because I love anime doesn't mean I want it IRL. It's the same reason that the untoons are so fucking creepy. Applying the abstract to the real is just a recipe for disaster.

I saw this yesterday... people should be free to modify themselves if they wish but damn, those photos are definitely uncanny valley, gave me the creeps just looking at them. Why someone would want to make themeselves look like a living doll is beyond me and trying to make that permenant... definitely not a good idea.

I wonder if someday we'll see people getting plastic surgeries for the "anime" look.

Errrrrrrrrrrrraagh.

...

This looks like a clear-cut case of possession. I say we burn it and feed the ashes to the pigs.

Then burn the pigs. Just in case.

Can you imagine her coming face to face with someone who is absolutely terrified by dolls?

She can do whatever she likes but... yeah. Even to me she just looks creepy and somehow "murdery". Like the thing you expect in horror films to come to life and garrote someone in the moments after a fake-out jump scare.

Jesus Christ, look at the girl on the left. What the hell?

You know, I try to be fine with whatever people do with their bodies but this is just plain fucking creepy. Especially the one on the left.

I've heard some really scary things about those "anime eye" contacts. Apparently they tend to be made in third world countries by companies that really don't know how to safely make contact lenses. Every time you use them, you risk abrasions and nasty infections.

That's not getting into how scary it /looks/ in just about every case ever. Can you say uncanny valley?

Honestly... Considering some of the plastic surgery horrors ive seen, dont find this particularly shocking or even noteworthy apart from the "anime" look.

She can now take up professional mugging. Hell, even assassination - imagine seeing her in a dark alley - I think I'll flatline right away to give my soul a chance of escaping before being torn apart.

Jesus Christ! Some things should be left in fiction! Seriously, I know she has a right to do this sort of thing... but this is a bit much...!

Wow, so anime girls look even worse in real life than they do in fiction. Hideous. But if she wants to look that way, by all means let her.
