Not enough Rock Bands!? There's too many Rock Bands and there always will be.
There are so many piss-poor bands that it's a good thing if more of the people who want to play guitar pick up a video-game instead of a real guitar. It'll hopefully stop them assuming people want to hear their unoriginal, boring and contrived music, thus saving us all from having to stand through wave after wave of bad support acts when we go to see our favourite acts.

I didnt read any other posts so I dont know if this is redundant but this band is absolute garbage. I hate Chad Kroeger almost as much as I hate his ego.

I don't listen to or like Nickelback, so I don't really care what he says, but even if everyone who played Guitar Hero stopped and played guitar, we would need drummers and singers and bass players and other musicians too.
I understand the point they are trying to make, but, umm... Nickelback really isn't an inspiration for aspiring rock bands..

If a respectable artist told me to do this, i would drop the plastic and start learning my pentatonics, but Chad Kroeger? you gotta be sh*tting me!

*whistels* Man lots of hate for Nickelback, I don't get is 'cause their Canadian, or 'cause some people are degenarate fuck heads who think they know music an everyone must listen to 'em. I like thoes guys, I don' think they're great, but they're better than listenin' to any of the emo bullshit, or walkin' American Idol rejects that fester the music bisnuess. Now on to the topic, it's hard to say that Chad is right, 'cause not many people have a talent or say the patients to learn to play a guitar. But defending Guitar Hero or Rock Band, and saying taht it's better than playing a real is your one way ticket to looney town.
Hey I've been saying this since about GH2. I know people that actually think they can play guitar because of Guitar Hero. If you are really that big of a social reject that you can beat the game on expert I have some advice for you. Go outside before you start to atrophy. Make friends, you might have heard of these before but go make them. GET A LIFE! That is the most important part. Oh and before i get responses saying that I'm just jealous because I suck at the game. No I don't, I can beat the game on hard and it's the biggest waste of time out of any video game I know.
