Wowzers. Maybe he just failed a QTE while driving, and now he's so ashamed that he's gone into deep seclusion. Gaming is serious business after all.

Besides having a butthole, gaming is the unifying force of commonness we all can share.

Wow, they must have an odd relationship. So it's convictions on weekdays and videogaming on the weekends?

So did anyone else find it odd that they played on all three consoles, it's almost as if they are immune to the fanboy virus, which of course must mean this is a lie.

I'M CALLING SHENANIGINS!

Only thing that would make this funnier is if the judge was a fan of Phoenix Wright.

But I suppose that was the point of the article picture.

Thats strange, they played Wii Sports and Halo on a Playstation 3? Obvious lie is obvious. Methinks they were snorking coke off a hookers chest.

Well, the judge seems to be a judge first and a buddy second (and a gamer third) so I see no problem.

Judge: "Alright buddy, keep committing crime. I'll make sure you get light sentences, and you help me earn a paycheck".
Criminal: "Sure. Sounds Cool. Just keep them light, alright?"

Why does this scenario feel VERY likely to have happened in one form or the other?

Sadly, this probably isn't all that interesting. Judge sentences criminal. By chance, they meet again, and start a friendship. Criminal realizes that the judge was just doing his job. We think its interesting because a video game brought them together. Later, judge is supposed to sentence criminal, but doesn't judge the case because of CoI. They remain friends. But then theres a car accident that will inevitably lead to a lot of public scrutiny, regardless of the judges innocence, so he figures he might as well take his retirement now.

The two were reportedly exhausted after a night of playing Halo 3 and Wii Sports at Carico's house after a few hours of PlayStation 3 at Hubbard's house.
Carico had the 360 and the Wii at his place. They played those systems after playing the PS3 at Hubbards house.

These guys must really love video games they spent all night together playing Halo 3 and Wii Sports on the PS3. Are we sure these two men aren't using gaming as a cover story for some other more taboo behavior? I think these two "buddies" were exhausted for an entirely different reason.

So did the judge resign because he was friends with a criminal, or DID HE JUST RESIGN BECAUSE PEOPLE NOW KNOW HE PLAYS VIDEO GAMES?

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/101699-ECA-President-Lawmakers-Know-Anti-Videogame-Bills-Wont-Pass

As we all know, video games are currently the "new media that old people who vote are afraid of for no rational reason." I'd seriously put money on him quitting just because the public knows he likes to pretend-shoot things.

And the fact that he pretend-shoots things with a guy who IS A CRIMINAL BECAUSE VIDEO GAMES HAVE ALREADY CORRUPTED HIM was only going to make his life worse.

See? When trying to understand law and politics, you have to think like you were born in 1935. In that part of the Deep South that didn't have running water or electricity until 1960.

VIDEOGAMES CAUSE CAR CRASH, ALSO CORRUPTION!

You can just feel this would be the headline if Fox News reported the story.

VIDEO GAMES: They corrupt the law!
Clip is unrelated.

It is a strange series of events. What I find most surprising is that they were good friends despite previous rulings.
Oh that's a good one, but this might fit better.
