Oof, I was hoping for $250 or less. Oh well, this is still a good deal, I'll see where I am financially next year.
Better than $400, though. And it's only $50 more than the DSi XL.Zing said:See that is stupid. Right now the Australian dollar buys you 97 cents on the USD. /rageEmeraldGreen said:Maybe not so bad, especially with the exchange rate so high. This isn't Word of God, obviously, but the estimated RRP on the EB Games website is $348.Zing said:I predict a 400 dollar AU tag on that easily.
I expected it to be more, but still, $300 is quite a bit. If this came out tomorrow, would you have $300 cash to spare to go grab it? I would but I wouldn't feel comfortable about it. For that price, you can get a ps3 or an xbox 360. Call me old fashioned but I think handhelds should cost less than consoles (this, coming from a guy who got a pspgo for his birthday 6 months ago). Now to play devil's advocate, I didn't get the dsi or the dsi XL, and with all that backwards compatibility, I think I myself would get it to reintroduce me to DS, I haven't picked up my lite in forever.OceanRunner said:We're looking at tremendous value for money, considering all this, plus its 3D tech. I'll be giving serious consideration to picking one up at launch.TsunamiWombat said:This thing is...
Backwards compatable with the DS/DSi games.
Includes a Virtual Console with GBA and GB games.
Is getting ports of Gamecube games.
Is recieving a large library of new and long wanted games for itself.
That is FIVE LIBRARIES WORTH OF GAMES.
It also does all of this.
