I think Nintendo has a right to be mad. They want to be kid friendly and family based. Warping their product for porn related matters slowly kills their image! They should take all of it down!

I suppose it's inappropriate to ask for a link to the offending gallery in question. I'd look it up myself, but, uh, I'm not that desperate.
Or you could have follow the Link to the original post which had a link to the offending gallery.... What? Don't look at me like that, I wanted to see if it was any good.

Also, let's not forget this [http://kotaku.com/233092/the-pervy-ds-game] is a licensed Nintendo game.
Nintendo did not license that. It was a home-brew.

OT: Nintendo is in the right. They can and should control how their products are view in the public.

You can't fight rule 34. I wish you could, but it's not gonna happen.
Here's the thing though, I break rule 34. There is no porn of me on the internet. I also break Rule 35, because NO ONE wants to make porn of me.

Google safe-search; this is why it exists! Honestly, if you search Nintendo DSi you will have a hard time finding porn on medium safe-search. Even your still worried, turn it up to strict safe-search. I've never seen a search engine without some kind of result filter, trying to protect your company from association with porn in this manner is essentially pointless.

And you are right my good sir. Messed it up, already fixed it with the proper game (Doki doki Majo Shinpan! [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeALCDZfBYM]). Thanks anyway.

Well, I do give them some credit. They probably could have asked for the picture, or the whole gallery, to be removed. And they probably would have gotten their way.

Thank you, Nintendo. Thank you for standing up for yourself without stepping on others. I wish more corporations would do the same.

if a person or company makes a product, they have every right to control how it is presented, i fail to see the problem here

so girls posing naked with dsi is the exclusive right of shigeru miyamoto's "special opening parties," and nothing else

I suppose Nintendo is "right" about the whole thing (as in; they have legal power to submit takedown notices to ANYTHING they see fit, compliance is a seperate question). But they're seriously fighting a losing battle there, not to mention; the more this happens, the more coverage it gets and the more likely it is for more porn to be made -.-

What are these rules people keep mentioning.

So far 34, 35, 63? But where can I read these rules?

That one lead to a 404 error message.

Rule 34: If it exists, there is porn of it.
Rule 35: If there is no porn of it, it will be made.
Rule 63: For any given male character, there is a female version of that character.

Just Google A characters name, followed by "Rule 34/63".

OP: Sorry Nintendo, the Internet will not allow such things.

Nintendo is in for a big surprise if they think they can take on rule 34.

It's a force of the internet, much like a hurricane is a force of nature.

At best they might get Paheal and Aerisdies taken down, and then ten more will spring up, just like when someone thought it would be a grand idea to take down Napster.
