-_- Little girls and their silly fads... I remember in the early 90's and the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync were the big faves for those impressionable youngsters. Justin Bieber is another fad, something that will come, everyone will know his name for a little while. There will be people who love, adore and worship the ground he walks on. Then there will be those who will despise and hate him above anything else.

Eventually, he'll fade into obscurity and we'll barely remember him. He'll be another sad and miserable soul whose all washed up and a shadow of his former self. Really, it will be funny when the time comes when someone more cuter and younger than him shows up to steal his spotlight. I wonder how many years it will be (I'm personally guessing that it will be around next year or the year after that people will get tired of him).

I'm glad that Nintendo has some respect for their franchise.

I have a new respect for Nintendo now...true the fact that Nintendo has got to the financial stage where the decision to rebuild their world headquarters entirely out of Papier-mâché'd money would be equivalent to the rest of us deciding to spend extra on a large popcorn at any given movie theatre may have had something to do with it but still I'm glad

Is that really the movie poster? Desaturated and Grey? Is he trying to be "dark"? I always though he had more of a Disney channel mystique. It looks silly like he trying to say "ah come on guys, I'm serious, really, take me serious!" and pout. Hum. Also, worst use of 3-D ever I mean this is dumber then advertising the news in HD.

As for Nintendo. I doubt if Bieber fans really overlap with Nintendo fans that much so I can see why there not interested. Also, I think that since we're talking about Japan here the pop influence from Bieber is probably minimal there, making it look unprofitable.

I'm confused. Isn't Justin Bieber a singer? Can't they use HIS music in the advertisement, it being his film and all? [Though it'll be sure to frighten anyone with ear drums and/or sense].

It's okay Nintendo, I hate "the Beeb" too. Maybe you could make a game that has Mario stomp on Bieber's giant ego...?
Hmmmmmmm.... Suppose they used it as a bargaining tool... "You may use the Mario theme, but in return, we get to use Bieber as a character in an upcoming title, in ANY manner we so choose."

Haha Nitendo this almost makes up for all the wii shovelware titles. +1 for dignity

Second of all, why is this movie being made, the guy's been famous for 5 minutes. I mean you used to need to have had several years of sucess as a recording artist and be dead before your career was immortalised in film.

Yes.....Because the Board of directors at Nintendo got together and discussed the topic of Super mario no longer being recognised and their only hope of salvation aside from a Princess Daisy/Peach girl on girl movie was to sell their souls to that talentless little prick with barely enough testosterone to fit under his little finger nail.
