Both Mario and Nintendo have been there way before this 15 minute pop star and will be there way after he's gone.

This nick name with which the boy is branded... "Beeb." CLEARLY it is short for BEELZEBUB. I think we may have bigger problems than legal issues here, gentlemen.

And I approve of not letting the hack behind step-up use Nintendo music.

Is he seriously calling himself "the beeb" he realises thats what the british people call the BBC right? He's calling himself a tv station o_O

+1 to nintendo love.

It seems the video game world really doesn't like him.

First Nathan Fillion basically saying F U to beeb's security when told to leave the room so beeb could play Halo Reach, then proceeding to kick beeb's ass at Reach.
Now nintendo refusing a song in his movie.
When/where was this? :O

Seriously guys, watch this video:

Nintendo need to do a LOT more than refuse Justin Bieber using Mario music to make up for the DIRE advert which is the above

Come on, you don't make the amount of money Nintendo does by giving things for free.

That's why there were never demo CDs released for the Gamecube, amongst other things.

Bieber just got pwned!
The bieber generation probably haven't even played Mario on the N64...
They are too young to know what good console games are. I bet they don't even play games, since 90% of Justin Beaver fans are 9-year old girls.

Offquote: Nintendo.......I am no longer dissapoint by your hatred towards eastern Europe.

Never say never...? Well Nintendo...

*puts on shades*

Just said never...

I don't blame them though. You couldn't pay me enough to appear on-screen as an Extra for that movie.

I'm sorry but Beiber is part of a different video game generation...Nintendo have nothing to gain and actually something to lose...
On the contrary, Beiber caters for the EXACT generation Nintendo does. 13 year-old girls (many whom own a Nintendo DS along with Animal Crossing, Nintendogs, Pokemon, etc).

I don't care about all the unwarranted hype around "Bieber" because like all things he will get old and that will kill his image very VERY fast.
i give him a year.
two if he's lucky.
More if he plans on being made of plastic... but that would be somewhat noticeable at age 50.

Hur Hur Hur... *sigh*... their both... just... evil... but at least we wont be getting some sort of hideous, marketing, monstrousity. Imagine The Beeb in 8-bit clawing its way down your ears *shudder* eeeeeew.

I'm going to write an article about how Nintendo doesn't really cater to the gamers anymore yet I still love them somehow but also dislike them and at times hide my wii in shame!

*a month and 2 days later after reading this news*

... um... yeah... so what was I saying before about Nintendo?

Naw just kidding, I still feel the way I feel about them, but this is amusing news to read in the morning. And as everyone else said, yeah, I'm sure Nintendo desperately needs to be advertised by Justin Bieber. I love how he ends the tweet with, "Oops," as if Nintendo just burned a major bridge or something.
