Wow Jon M. Chu I have to say you made yourself look stupid. I hate beiber and I more of a sonic guy than mario but this is an insult to nintendo. Advertisement, HA thats the best that you can come up with? Unlike Mario Justin Bieber is a dying Icon his hype moment has died in less than 2 years, and i'm sure this movie is gonna have as much of an annoying audience as the twilight films. And I personally think Nintendo touching a brown stain of a movie like this would not do it anymore justice than it already has.

I love it. Nintendo's new slogan: "we may market to kids at times, but at least we're not idiotic Justin Bieber fans!"

Justin Bieber: Never Say Never hits theaters on February 11. Don't miss it!
I'm contemplating what horrendous torture I should inflict upon you for typing out that sentence.
Whats wrong with that sentence? I wouldn't want you to miss it either. If your going to blow the Theater up, make sure its the right one.

Chu: We would like to license the Super Mario Bros. theme for our movie please.
Nintendo: Alright, let's get talking. So, what movie are we talking about?
Chu: Justin Bieb...
Nintendo: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA No. *Hangs up phone*
This reminds me a lot of that part in American Psycho when Bateman tries to get a reservation at Dorsia. Heh.

"aw C'mon Nintendo! Y won't u let us use the Mario theme for 15 secs in the @Justinbieber movie," director Jon M. Chu wrote on Twitter [http://twitter.com/jonmchu/status/26408114655858688]. "talk about free advertising passed up. Oops"
... seriously? What is the director, 14?
Maybe he typed like that because of Twitter's character limit?

I like the way this guy phrased his twatter message.

All in all I couldn't care less either way. I have nothing against Bieber nor Nintendo, but I'm sure there's a market analysis behind their every move.

Nintendo gained Karma...

*cough* Seriously, though. Nice to see Bieber getting denied. Perhaps this is a sign for the beginning of the end for his "career"...

Yeah, because Mario totally needs more advertising.

Seriously, who the hell hasn't heard of Mario yet?
If you want a snarky answer, unborn children. Give it a few years, and Nintendo will find a way around the barrier of the womb.

But yeah; this director is an idiot to think Nintendo would want anything to do with movies (Scott Pilgrim film, aside).
*gasps* So THAT'S what the vitality sensor is for!
It all makes sense now!

Hehe Nintendo might have lost a few Bieber fans but gained a lot of haters instead.

oh no, nintendo is going to "lose this opportunity" according to Jonh M. Chu...

yeah nintendo doesnt care....

everyone know about nintendo and its mascots (Mainly mario), so yeah theyre going to be very sad not to give 15 secs from a song they own...

Sincerily im glad nintendo did this, mainly because its a crappy movie with over-hyped fanboyism.... that only little teenage and kid girls like, and apparently guys do too (saw this weird report from my country... its sad how many fanboys there are too)....

Screw you Bieber...
Screw you Jonh Chu...
A little word to the wise...
That you both go to hell and sincerily F**k You!!!

Nintendo FTW!!!

Not sure why everyone hates Justin Bieber as though he was some kind of convicted serial murderer/rapist. He's just a pop singer. Calm down. If you don't like his music, then don't buy it. If you don't like his fans, then don't talk to them. Half the reason he is so popular is because people like you talk him up. Again, he sings POP music which means that in a few months, no one will even remember his name. When was the last time you heard the name Aaron Carter? I thought so.

I now officially fucking love Nintendo again! I thought maybe the Wii was killing them and they were becoming a corporate sold-out shell of the entertainment creating god they once were, but this proves they still have some integrity left. Nintendo may hate Justin Bieber, but so does everyone else above age 12 with at least half a functioning brain in their head and this is way different than the sound effects and music from Link to the past being in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. The reason? Scott Pilgrim was a GOOD movie!
