Nintendo just leveled up in the awesome field, they may rehash the same characters through the grinder so much that they've got as many stories as Batman and the X-men have (in their trillions of timelines and stories), but at least Nintendo takes pride in keeping their characters associated w/ something as hideous as this.

The problem w/ Bieber is that he's the same star singer that's been seen over and over, and in about 3 years his name will only be remembered by those he was disliked by, his fans have moved on

Good for Nintendo, turning down free publicity must be like not signing off on a new Sonic game for them. Possibly the pointless gimmick crowd of Bieber fans is too great even for them.

Thats funny. Nintendo is going to miss out on a new audience cause they wont let the Bieber movie use mario's theme. I'm pretty sure the peoiple that go there either:
A) Know who mario is already
B) Wont even know what that song is
C) Dont know who mario is
D) Dont care who mario is.

Anyway, I'll be missing it for sure. I only ever went to see one of these kinda movies and it was the kenny chesney summer movie.

I don't know if anyone said this but he said free advertising. Doesn't that mean you won't pay them but use their music and assume people will go buy their stuff. If they really did say "Hey, we're going to use your music but we won't pay you, is that cool?" Then Nintendo has every right to tell that director to go fuck himself.
