The longest I've ever stayed awake for before was around 30 hours and I felt like shit. A whole week will kill you.
I've actually done it before, of course about 3 less days. I was looking for Call of Duty in my room when I just shut down and when I woke up I started seeing ants trying to eat me, I was crying my heart out when I saw Call of Duty, I was like WTF was I doing? Of course that was years ago.loodmoney said:Don't do anything you wouldn't do drunk. That's about the only piece of advice I can really give. You probably won't die, but keep some friends around in case you do. They should make sure you don't do anything stupid as well.
Really, I think the main difficulty you will face is that sleep is fun, and deprivation highly unpleasant.
Having suffered from insomnia on multiple occasions I certainly can't recommend it. You start to feel like a crazy person after 2-4 days, with the hallucinations and tricks of the brain becoming more and more vivid as you progress. Also, you'll physically start to feel real bad as your body aches for rest.Griffstar said:A simple enough question, is staying awake for 1 week straight dangerous? I made a bet with a couple of my friends about it.
No I won't be driving or doing anything that I shouldn't be, also I'm not doing drugs.
