Have any of yall been to South Carolina, Charleston area? Came across a Geechie? Oh man...one of my friends is geechie (if you don't know who they are, that's what the internet is for) and shit! I can't understand a goddamn word that comes out of his mouth 85% of the time. There are a lot at my school. I'm pretty cool with all of them that I come across but still, they got their own crazy ass language along with their own crazy ass accent all talking fast...lol

Although it is pretty funny to listen to them talk.
Think of a really heavy Jamaican with some west indies mixed in there with their own language.
The more I hear them talk though, the better I understand though.

In game or real life?

When it comes to games I thought the Assassin's Creed II situation was mildly ridiculous. Since I grew up in Italy and used to be fluid in Italian, the accents the characters put on wasn't very convincing. But it didn't get really bad until they had spoken dialog in actual Italian where they sported an American accent -.- Still, points for trying, I always enjoy it when games make an effort with the language.

In real life... I heard a few really fun ones when I played WoW. The Danish accent is pretty awful, Dutch isn't too fancy either. Met a few Germans, I was somewhat disappointed that their accent was nothing like the Bond villains'

The most cringe worthy of all though is my native Swedish :S

I don't hate bad accents, I find them hilarious.

My absolute favourite example is Steve McLaren's bizarre "Dutch" accent.


I don't know what the fuck he thought he was doing, maybe he got it into his head that he was actually speaking Dutch, or maybe he just subconsciously started mimicking the Dutch person interviewing him, but whatever the reason, it's hilarious.

I think it's even funnier that Peter Seller's Swedish accent.
