I really dont have bad nose bleeds.
Actually when I was younger I had "Tactical nose bleeds". Just scratch my nose and pick out the scab and bingo! I get to go to the bathroom for some water and to clean up my nose.

In high school I got bad nose bleeds from the construction they were doing, I turned a desktop red once. You bleed a lot of from your head its pretty amazing, I love the huge blood clot you either cough or sneeze out I had em bigger than me hands before!
I have some issue where my nose randomly bleeds, mostly due to the humidity, so I have them all the time. A good year is probably only a dozen of them a year. Worst I had were about four between December 25th and 26th one year, and two of them lasted over an hour. I think my the last one it didn't go on very long because I already lost so much...
I get them in hayfever months, almost every day. I'd never had a nosebleed until just over a year ago, but since then, I've been pretty bad.Julianking93 said:

However, I had issues with my nose a few years ago, I've been in hospital with two of them 'cause they just bled so heavily, and didn't stop for well over an hour. The first bad bleed I had, I tried to stem the flow with a towel, and when the nurse pulled it away at the hospital, this MASSIVE clot came away with the towel, haha. It was disgusting. I had my nose cauterised a few weeks later, and haven't had any severe ones since, just tiny ones which don't bother me.
don't put your head back, you should pinch the nose shut and lean slightly forward. if you lean back it goes down your throat so not only could you choke but the blood dries there. not nice.
i've had loads of nose bleeds, especially when it gets hot but luckily not had one for a few years. had one while i was on placement in a pre-school, and while i was helping in a year 2 class. a few times i've worken up during the night with a we pillow due to a nose bleed while asleep which has woken me up

When I was younger, I used to have them every day for two months in the summer. Eventually, I got somewhat of an instinct to always breath in with my nose and out with my mouth, whenever I got the familiar feeling of a blood vessel bursting...
This "instinct" still haunts me, particularly when I try to hold my breath under water. I always need to hold my nose shut with my hand, and made it hard for me to learn to swim.

The one which scarred my nose, a small chunk of the inside got cut out somehow. It was 5 odd years ago though so you can't see it any more.

Not very often... the last time was when I got punched in the face... that was over two years ago. It hurt.
