PETA got upset? Why am I not the least bit surprised? Because though they're basic mission is good, I think they immature and unreasonable. But at least it didn't happen in india. They get upset if you kill a spider THAT BIT YOU FIRST. I once got a 25-minute lecture from an indian guy who saw me smash a spider that bit my hand while I was sitting in class.

Yes I agree this wins my "huh" award for the year by a landslide so far. I wonder how long it will hold that title.
Plenty of other things have been "huh" worthy but that one is just... wrong.
Flies are like bloody vermin. I believe in killing cockroaches, termites, and actually all bugs that infest houses. Ditto for rats and mice that get into my dwelling. I'm a bit more tolerant with bats (a few have flown in through the years) with bats I usually just smack them with a broom, grab them with a towel, and then dump them outside where they inevitably fly away.

Fuck PETA they are the sole reason a vegetarian isn't taken seriously by anyone. When PETA first started they were good, fair, unbiased and serious. Now it seems like they are a parody of there former selves. I love animals, I will not eat animals. BUT ITS A FUCKING FLY!. i am 99.9% sure every member of PETA has killed a bug at some point.
