Ha, this reminds me of the whole "Dihydrogen Monoxide [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dihydrogen_Monoxide] scam, good stuff, good stuff.

This is actually quite entertaining.
However it kinda is a bit less awesome when you realize that out of the three people tricked two were senior citizens, likely not people who would play Pokemon(I said likely stop beating me!). Although they should question these "Pokecenters" and this "Senator Lugia". At least question this people!

I'm afraid I can't share in this hilarity. It just came across as being a dick to people who were quite genuinely trying to answer the questions (albeit ignorantly). Here in Australia, the Chaser comedy team have been pulling these kinds of stunts for years, so it lacks the novelty factor.

I like this better as Rick Mercer's "Talking to Americans". Heck this schtick goes back to old comedy duos like Abbott and Costello that would play con men and speak total gibberish to convince people they needed to see a doctor or get their car fixed. We are a very stupid people that will never admit we're not sure of something.

But yeah, I gave up on following the Healthcare debate as soon as I realized the Tea-Baggers weren't going to STFU about "Death Panels". At this point, all I'm informed enough to do is just kick back, let Washington do it's thing, and try to take the results in stride.
