What? You cant be ... OH GOD! I guess the internet really does honor its rules.
Dear god.....it really IS out there.

Actually, I'm not surprised at all.

Is Critical Miss posted anywhere but here on the Escapist? If not, then that means we've some pervs in the audience here.

This comic is entirely false!

We all know Activision employees have no self-awareness or initiative of their own. Why do think they're with Activision?

Also:

Onlooker: "Don't go back to it, it's evil!"
Mantis: "I know it is, but it's attractive!"
Which is why he's imitating a movie, obviously.

Of course, "In your eyes" was not intended for insect species. Too many of them.

What if that crazy mantis monster is actually a man? And we - all of us - are all suckered in by some kind of reverse They Live! scenario where we see Activision representatives, not as humans, but as mantis, unless we put on the special glasses that let us see their true forms?

It would explain why every time I see Bobby Kotick he's preening his mandibles.
I always wondered why a monster was wearing a sweater vest.

Ok, you were born in the 92, this is before your time.

It's a reference to Say Anything... [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Say_Anything...], and this scene in particular.
Hey, I was born in 92 and I get the joke. I mean, I've never seen the full movie but I've seen enough references to that scene in other shows and such (and saw that clip once) to get it.

Yeah...
Google adapts its suggested searches to what you've searched for before.

Got something you should tell us?

It is suggests "Erin Stout Seattle". Someone has been using my computer to look at stuff in Seattle. Oh, and weird porn, but that's the net for you.

Hey now, like that other guy I was born in '92 and I recognized the reference.

And it decidedly got a "Ha!" out of me. Well played.

Considering the Mantis' habit of eating its mate and young, I'd give it a miss.
Maybe even a critical miss? [small]... I'm sorry...[/small]

Even by regular Escapist pun standards, that was poor...
It wasn't that bad, I laughed // It's not Matt Wiggins from Feed Dump bad so I'll let it pass

I'm sure it is actually an American model of car, but to my British mind, that gaint Praying Mantis is driving a Rolls.

Well to be fair to the mantis, I can understand his dedication to trying to mate with species outside his own.

Tends not to end well otherwise.

Ok, I understand the joke, but seriously Activision isn't SO bad company.
In comparison with other companies, Activision is ok.

Also CoD series is a good Videogame series. I really enjoyed CoD 2 back in the old days.

Maybe in the next comic she will realised that....and together will create a human/mantis hybrid for the "Corruption of Champions" for the first step of their new relationship ^^

THIS is a really good happy ending I love to see in the comics.

I dunno, what you hear about the way they treat the devs sounds quite... unpleasant.

I guess that, apart from the Diablo 3 debacle and the extortionate prices of CoD DLCs they don't do too much that hurts us as customers. Or maybe you just don't hear about it as much.

To be fair, Diablo 3 is a fun game. I enjoy playing the game with different characters multiple times in the whole game.
However I was disappointed from this game for two reasons:

-The Story was REALLY weak, especially at the end. A part of this reason is because I read the book "Diablo III: Book of Cain". Great read in my opinion. I hope the expansion pack answer some really critical questions I have from the weak story of the game....

-Diablo 3 isn't Diablo 2. Even if I said it is a fun game to play, for those they hoped to get a same experience like in the second game, they will not get it......
Ironically the the recent game that is closer like Diablo 2 gameplay, is Path of Exile.

Personally I didn't get angry with the whole "Error something" fiasco.

Also about the recent CoD games, i don't have an opinion, because I never played them. As I said I only played the old series of CoD and I enjoy it a lot.
Plus if a DLC is not cheap, then don't buy it, simple as that.

Erin's house has a gravel driveway with trees planted on either side so you drive up under a canopy of leaves, and a massive lawn? Where does she live, the Antebellum south?
