Obsidian CEO Talks Planescape Sequel

Obsidian wants to do a sequel? *Gasp* Surprise!

Hopefully they get the Black Isle team on it.

Obisidian = Black Isles. This sequal might work out since it would be their own.

Not all of Obsidian is Black Isle and not all of Black Isle is Obsidian. They're very close, but not quite.

Fallout is a Black Isle IP. They should've done much better with NV than they did because of that, especially when you consider that Black Isle employees are working at Obsidian(with a few exceptions for the folks at Bethesda now). It should've been handled better. The issue that they had was with the engine, but that's an issue that seems to come up fairly regularly with their recent games.

Well, NV was based off Bethesda's Fallout. Fallout 3 was a Bethesda game with a Fallout paint job more than a Fallout game made by Bethesda. Perhaps if it had been a Fallout 1/2 style game instead of a Bethesda one, it would have faired better.
