Obsidian Unveils South Park RPG

Hmmm, what will sell it for me is whether they use 3d models of the South Park characters, or just use 2d things but in a 3d world, like Paper Mario. I wanna know if it will be third, first or overhead? TBH, if this is just New Vegas set in the south park world then ill be hooked.
Curious how bugs are celebrated or glossed-over in Skyrim, but Obsidian gets a pie in the face for their buggy RPGs.
Finarry!!! I've always thought South Park would make an awesome RPG, and believed nobody would ever do it. Obsidian, please don't mess this up - also, hire me to teach you how to not mess this up.

On a serious note I eagerly await the info in the issue because if its another XBLA game then I'll be slightly disappointing. Fully fledged game = win.

I really like the Obsidian games, and I love South Park. The thought of a merger is.... weird. It'll be interesting to see how this actually turns out. I'm looking forward to it!

2nd thought: are Obsidian ever going to create a new original IP? Since Alpha Protocol they've done great work expanding on others worlds with limited resources, but surely by now it's time to try again? This seems a little like backpedalling to me.

Nah, I think this will be a fully fledged game, like the Simpsons game. They wouldn't of done a cover for a little XBLA game, and Obsidian has never made an XBLA game so I dont think this will be one.WorldofHarvis said:

The planning for 3 won't even start until the lead creative design guy and combat engine teams finish work on FF 13 Versus. Since someone ordered a complete artistic design overhaul on 13 Versus shortly before 13 itself came out it's going to be awhile before any work starts on 3.believer258 said:
