My Siberian Husky is rather picky with her food.

When she's not happy she'll pick one single food pellet and lay it on the floor. She then proceeds to shove it around with her nose. If she's outside, she'll bury single pellets all over the yard. It's really strange, but a bit hilarious as well.

My philadendren likes to sit in a pickle jar full of water, as opposed to a pot full of dirt. And it likes fertalizer on occassion. It also has a great fondness for growing roots in strange places.
You have a pet plant? That's not normal, but it's nice.

When I last had an aquarium, I had a water-snail that would climb up to the surface of the water, and then go into his/her shell and drift to the bottom. I found it amusing, but odd. Also, when I had more than one of them, they would glide gracefully across the gravelly floor. I guess they're nocturnal...
I find plants make the best pets. I had a cat at one point, but he and I had some important philisophical disagreements. He strongly believed that trashcans should be tipped over, so that their contents could be perused at will by any interested parties, I on the other hand felt they should be left upright. He was under the impression that litterboxes were not just for bathroom business, they were also a fun playplace for the entire family. He felt that electrical chords made excellent toys, I was under the impression that playing with electrical chords could have potential rammifications. Ultimately, he moved in with a different family. I hope they are not so philisophically opposed.

But I never quarrel with my plants. I give them light, and they like to sit around. It's the perfect ballance between something to take care of, and something that doesn't piss me the hell off. Which is why my appartment is full of plants. Mostly epiphytic tillandsias, cause they're pretty cool.

My dog was practically mute except when it saw other dogs, and tried to attack them despite being a small King Charles Spaniel. It also Howled in its sleep but never when awake, and didn't play with balls, Frisbees, etc. You would roll a ball to him and he just looked at it and would walk away with a "fuck that" expression.

I loved him though. That strange animal.

my dog likes to swim in ponds but he doesn't like his paws getting wet because he avoids puddles and if I wash his paws with the hose he runs away and whimpers. It's funny :)

My pet jumps up on the bed to fall asleep with us, then when she thinks we are asleep, she'll jump down. In the morning, she jumps back up on the bed before we awake, just so we don't think she was gone. lol What a smart puppy.

My cat will eat nearly anything you put in front of it, and lately has the hobby of jumping in my lap, so i pat it, then once its purring it starts drooling

Our one cat Cleo will wake my dad up early in the morning to climb under the covers, and then after he's left she'll find whoever is next most likely to wake up (me), and climb up on my bed, waiting until I wake up so I can give her belly rubs (there is never a time in the morning when she does not want belly rubs).

The smaller of my ferrets steals things (even things about her own size and weight, like my xbox controller) and puts them in her hideaway under the couch.
She also tries to climb up the inside of my pants when I sit at the computer.
Also, she will not accept being scolded.
She knows when she's been bad and she'll accept being removed from whatever she's messing with that she shouldn't, but if you take her by the skin of her neck and scold her, she'll become aggressive, to the point of seeking you out from across the room and biting you, up to maybe 10 minutes later.
Of course, we got her cheap cause she was mental so maybe that's not so strange after all...

My cat's favourite food is broccoli. Whenever we eat dinner and leave the plates on the table, he'll climb up when we're not looking and eat the leftover broccoli and won't touch any scraps of meat. Seriously.

My dog starts panting heavily in my face when she wants to go outside. She doesn't bark, just walks up and pants.

Also, she occasionally speaks my name. Perfectly. it's a bit disturbing.

My Cat likes to meow constantly and try to talk like a human until you let her out, then she goes to the window and meows till you let her in and repeats.

One of my cats taps at the door when she wants to come inside, she seems to know that it's really annoying and that we let her in quicker just to make her stop (she will then proceed to take ages to walk through the door).

My old cat (RIP) had a snaggle tooth in which mouse arms and other detritus from prey would get wedged.

The next cat (RIP) liked to hang it's body around my neck like a neck rest or shawl.

The current cat drools when being pet, a lot.
