When my dog gets excited, he sneezes or blows throw his nose loudly, I often copy him, and he does it back, we can do this for minutes, he also starts to wiggle his head around and sneeze at the same time, he gets more extravagant with each sneeze, it's like a little competition and it's REALLY funny.

My dogs also appear to play some game in the garden, one sits in a flowerbed, and the other runs and jumps at it, they then swap around and do it over and over. It's also really amusing.

My orange tabbies sleep on their backs in the most uncomfortable places. One of them is currently sleeping on a pile of books. And my black cat is bi-polar. One minute she's really friendly, next minute she wants to claw your eyes out.

My old cat (died this July) would stare at a blank wall in the darkness. There was nothing on the wall, and would only do this at night. Also, if he was stuck behind a closed door, he would throw himself at the door, banging against it until someone opened it up. He never meowed to get our attention. He also would use his paw to throw his food from his bowl on the ground before eating it.

Our cat always wants to know what your eating, but hates people food. He loves NERF darts though, and will eat them if left within his reach.
He doesn't know how to use his front claws, and constantly gets stuck on blankets and the carpet.

My dog likes grapes and can hear you opening a bag of pretzels from anywhere inside the house. She will find you and demand some. She also constantly looks for places to 'burry' those pretzels if you don't crush them into smaller pieces, and her toys. Inside the house.

I love this thread.

My dog sleeps on the dining table, even though he has a perfectly, and presumably more comfortable, bed on the floor.

My cat refuses to eat fancy wet cat food from the can, and loves dog food, rubber bands, and salty food. potato chips, french fries, etc.

My dog doesnt eat at her food bowl. she'll grab two or three bits of food and run off somewhere. THEN she'll eat it.

My doberman will take some food from the bowl, turn around, om nom nom it down, and repeat it.

And our Siberian Husky took a huge steaming dump in the hall 3 times in 3 days, so we gave him a dog house...I don't think that's very good discipline.

Man were do I start with my cat?
1. If you stomp your feet near her she runs into the kitchen (On her claws) and drifts around the corner slams into the box were the pet food is, knocking over anything in her path until she gets to the basement stairs.
2.She plays fetch with a paper ball sometimes.
3.If left alone for a while she will run at the wall and do back flips of of it.(seriously we need to fix a spot in the wall were she scraped off the paint.

My mates dog used to go mad and bark at the window if you said 'squirrel'... also if you said 'gherkin' for some reason.

My favourite, awesome, fat cat sometimes sleeps on top of doors. How the hell he gets up there is a mystery that I have yet to solve. On the other hand, he can also open closed doors, so he's generally spectacular all round, who knows, maybe he flies too? Perhaps he's the real-life GRAVITY CAT! He also loves to eat yoghurt and pads enthusiastically on the spare controller whenever I'm gaming.

Another one of my cats greets me by jumping onto my lap, headbutting me and then wiping his nose on my laptop.

Yay, pets!
Our old dog used to dislike peas. So, if she was fed dog food with peas in it, the peas would be in the bottom of the bowl by the end, all licked to a sparkling shine. That was amusing.
We also once had a Siamese that happened to love peas. And pringles (once he got his head stuck in the tube and it made his purr echo. My brother found that hilarious). And raw cookie dough. Our current cats are all different. I have one that doesn't like to be held upside down like a baby, and also doesn't like lying on people. If she's on a bed, she'll lie at your feet, not touching you at all. Yet she loves to be petted. This cat makes a living out of sitting on particular boxes until her mammoth weight has made them sink into themselves so much that you can't see her when she's sitting on them. Let's see... we have another who's now so old she's gone deaf, which is hilarious in itself. Ringing a loud bell right behind her and producing no results is very funny. Then our burmese has mood swings. Sometimes he's all sweet and wanting to crawl on you or under the covers or whatever, sometimes he's quite hostile and will run away from you, and other times he goes completely schizo and runs all over the house. I think that can be quite common, but we haven't had another cat that's done that. He also snores.

My dog Ceili sleeps on her back with her paws in the air. She tries to tiptoe around the house when she knows that she's in trouble (which is stupid because we have hardwood floors so we can hear her very well), and when she is on her back to get her belly rubbed she puts her front paws in the air as if she was praising Jesus.
My cat Dingle has no problem climbing up the tree to get onto the roof of the house, but she will sit there and cry until someone comes and lifts her up onto the top of the dryer so that she can get to her food dish. She also gets a slice of turkey lunchmeat every morning, so when my mom gets up and goes to the kitchen, Dingle is already sitting there on the counter nearest the refrigerator.
My other cat Molly is a sadist. She hunts birds (which is not unusual) but when we find the bodies, the heads are always missing. Same goes for squirrels. She has a second family that lives down the street, and their son goes to the school that my mom works at. He was telling her that one day his mom was getting into the car when all of the sudden a dead bird fell onto the hood of her car. She got out and looked up, and Molly was sitting on the roof looking down onto the bird, almost like she was thinking "I hope you like your little present."
