Ugh, Ohgren. Asschabs.

Rather have the others back, as he was probably the most boring character in the game, by far. Even Sten was better than he was. Woah, a drunk Dwarf!? Never heard of it. The only fun he brought was his comments with Wynne, those were gold.

And he's a useless berzerker. Did anyone find any use for Sten and Ohgren? I certainly did not.

First, let me say this: Ass Chaps!! XD

Secondly, I used Ohgren a lot, actually. At first, I was upset: Ohgren presented such a negative Dwarven image(at least he didn't have a Scottish accent!). But after his hilarious conversations with Wynn, the screwball Ohgren/Zevran prison break plan, and his fireside pass-outs.... well, Ohgren sorta won me over! HEhehehehe.

I'm glad he's in the semi-sequel.

Well, Shale excluded, Sten? And... uuuh... I think that's it.
Pretty sure Sten attacks you when you enter Haven but I'm not sure if you can kill him there or just beat him down to make him get back in line as I've not done it myself.
Oh? I've never experienced that. Not a single time I've gone there, be it before or after his personal quest.
According to the DA Wiki (obviously might be wrong, but after this much time I wouldn't have thought so):

"If Sten is in the active party when they reach Haven, he may attempt to overrule the Warden and gain control of the group as he tires of the aimless wandering around. This conversation should occur just after speaking to the guard who tries to deter you from entering Haven. If the Warden can reason with him by means of sufficient coercion skills, it is possible to end this encounter without violence. To do so, the player must first choose the dialogue option "It'll never see this coming.", then "It will help stop Loghain." followed by "It's something I have to do" (might not be obligatory) and finally "He killed Duncan." This should result in +4 approval points. The subsequent dialogue options may still trigger a physical confrontation with Sten, if so, the best choice to his challenge is "What?" (the other two give -3 approval). After defeating him, his approval increases by an additional +7 points. Dissapointingly, you cannot kill him for attacking you.

Wow, I need to try/research that. I never really used him, but hey, maybe it's true.

Dammit, not even Shale?
Maybe you'll see Shale again as a dwarf, remember how she looking for a way to turn back? I mean Ohgren is playable but perhaps they'll give the other characters a reappearance at least much like the Mass Effect.
That would be decent...but Ohgren was my least favorite character. Even less than Wynne, and that's saying something.

Meh. As much as I liked Oghren, I liked Shale, Sten, Zevran, Wynne, Morrigan, Alistair and Leliana better. He was funny, but when I got him Alistair was so much better, and he's cooler.

I understand why the choice was made, but you should be able to choose one or two Origins party members to bring along, out of those that survived. It would be an extra bit of work for Bioware, but I think it'd be worth it.
