i played a game when i was a kid and idont remember its name it was along time ago and its very old now.i only remember that there were more than 3 characters where u can choose from and one for them had an Elf ears and dressed in green and shoots with a bow and he wasnt little.and another character was a female (dressed in blue ithink) and had a staff that shoots blue things.its a third person game u can see the character u playing with from the top (u only see his head and shoulders).u can open chests with gold keys and there u can find different types of gems that gives u score and u might find some kind of a map that gives u the ability to kill all the monsters around u and sometimes the chest drops gold keys.u collect different keys with different colors to open the door that had the same color.i remember there was a skull key that when u pick it u lose it after seconds so u had to run fast to open the door befor u lose the skull key iremember that the skull key opens a room with alot of gems and keys.there were a hole in the floor looked like a black hole if u went threw it it will teleport u to another place.there was different types of monsters i only remember 2 types (Spiders-some kind of a white monster looks like a mummy).i remember there was a character u can play with that wears a helmet and he was huge and had muscles.there was a monster that wears black coat he doesnt hit u but he runs very fast,if u killed him he will drop a bag that contains golden keys and gems.every kind of a monster had a house that u have to destroy so they will stop spawning in the place not the whole level.u can play the game with more than 3 friends but idont know if u can play it online
I'm not entirely sure but that sounds a lot like the Gauntlet series, although they typically had 4 playable characters but there are a large amount of gauntlet games so maybe look into those?

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but the only PS2 launch title with a robot in it is Armored Core 2 because back then only launch titles came with consoles with a few rare exceptions. Hope this helps.

I played 2 games that I need to remember, one of them was a flash game where it was a point and click game, you played as some demon (I think) and started possessing living creatures and people and killing them. At one point you possess a man with orange hair and a surgical mask. I don't think it was the reincarnation flash games series, Was it? The second game I played was a PC game, maybe it was an early 90's/2000's game where you make your own superhero and choose your power like super speed and it was a moba-like game, the view was from the sky. Please help me find these games.

There is a game I am looking for, its a very old game from the 90's, It was played using a floppy disk. I have very vague memories of the game, but what i remember was that it was based on robots, you were in a spaceship i think and fought other robots which got more difficult over the levels you cleared. It was a first person game with 3D graphics. It is a very weak description i know, but there cant be too many 3D robot games on the floppy disks, right?

I made an account just to ask.

This is driving me absolutely insane.

There is this game that my family and I used to play together. I believe it was on Playstation 1. It was a 2D side scroller where the protagonist (Who I think was female, but I could very likely be wrong) could jump, slide and possibly glide around the game. I believe it was played fairly zoomed out with standard platforming game mechanics. I specifically remember one level that is set in a carnival/festival/theme park type environment with lots of colourful lights and tents.

For the life of me, I cannot remeber the name of the game. Nor can I remeber any of the enemy or the plot. I just remember it being challenging and enjoyable.

I thought it was perhaps Rayman 2.... Because I had a burnt copy of it. But it turns out Rayman 2 is 3d. So I thought rayman 1.... Nopr. Completely different.

I'm sorry that's not much to go on... If anybody has any idea, I am ABSOLUTELY all ears!

Cheers

Ok I'm going to try my luck again, hopefully someone will be able to help me, again 2 games:

1st: Side-scroller, happens at night, you're some sort of a samurai that has no weapon, after reaching some points or something a sword would fall down from the sky and you could pick it up, game is from 90's

2nd: A 3D side-scroller as far as I remember, you started on a street with a wall, and you would eventually climb up to the sky, I'm not entirely sure but at one part you would go forward and backward instead of sidewise, then, there was a bus station dunno why but that's what I remember, I was like 6-8 that would be 16-18 years ago, quite a lot, so I played it somewhere in 1997-1999 so it's probably a 90's game aswell,

thanks

Out of the blue I'd say you played either the first or second game of the "Descent" series.

Hi,

REALLY hoping someone can help! I was playing this computer game back in the 2000's. I could only ever play this game on one site, the site was completely blue with game advertisements in boxes on the right. On the left it was the most popular games listed, then on the centre there were random new games in yellow writing and the writing was centred also. Anyway when clicking on the game it showed a very small game and when it started it flashed then when to play button.

The game has blue blocks/squares to move about on and also ladders to get away from the characters trying to throw you off the blocks. You have to collect these points (think they were tiny yellow images of some sort) then this allowed you to jump to the next available block and go through (I think it was a tiny door) to the next level and the more levels you got through the more harder it is to get to the next block with the enemy catching up and throwing you off.
I even remember in the second or third level at the beginning you go down a huge ladder to collect the point first at bottom right, while jumping over the enemy.
This is all I can remember, it's so frustrating can't remember the name, anyone know?
Thanks Bex

I Remember a pretty old game. I Can't really remember much about it, but a few key points do stick out. You played Someone or another that came to a old Mansion/Castle and gained the power to make traps and change rooms around. You used these powers to trap and kill visitors/adventurers/Heroes who came to the Mansion/Castle, on behalf of the Demon(Satan?) who lived there (was in the attic, trapped in a Mirror or Crystal thing). There where several traps, such as a Pitfall, Spike Walls, a Cage that fell down and Drained them, and something having to do with a Coffin. Several rooms too, like a Dinning room, small closets and Hallways. You had not actual way of attacking, so you had to run away and try and lead people into your Traps.
I don't remember many of the enemies, but I DO remember this one Exorcist/Priest Chick who was pretty annoying. She would always jump out of your Pits, and the Cage would not effect her till you've Weakened her quite a bit.

Now that I think about it, it was actually a pretty intricate game for how old it was.

This one may prove to be a real challenge because I don't remember much about the game. I haven't played or seen this game in over 10 years so there isn't much I can go off from. Since this wasn't my game and since I started playing after the owner of the game sat the controller down to go somewhere fast, I couldn't get a chance to see what the name of the game was called. I don't remember which console it was on either but given my current memory I would say it looked like it was either on the N64 or PSX.

I began playing as either a kid or a very short character. He or it was in a big room which seemed to be underground possibly. The outer area of the room was dark and in the middle of the room was a sizable pyramid with some hovering platforms moving around it. At first I thought it might have been Super Mario 64 but I had myself clear that entire game to find that out. No luck. Then I thought it was some sort of 3d Earthbound game because it seemed to give off the a similar vibe. Turns out that wasn't it either. Hopefully this is enough to spark someones memory because it most certainly didn't spark mine. GL!

Edit #1: It MIGHT have been Dreamcast but I highly doubt it. I just don't want to put it past me just in case I was wrong.

Edit #2: To Osamaru: I think you might be talking about Deception. It sounds a lot like that game series and it's first release was pretty old iirc. They are still making games for the series to this day.

There was computer game that I played in the early 1990's that I can't remember the name of. It was a scifi game that reminded me of startrek. I think you chose your character and maybe named your ship. You would travel around and trade with different species on different planets or stations. I don't remember if there was any fighting involved or if it was just about improving your character and ship. There may have been different missions you had to complete. I do remember one of the characters on the game looked catlike or maybe foxlike and I think female, but of course wore a "starfleet-like" uniform.

I looked up Phantasy Star and that's not it. This computer game was definitely all about space travel and missions/trading items. I think I played it sometime between '91-'93. The cat may have been a fox, but it wasn't the game Star Fox. There were other characters too, some human, some alien. There were space crafts that you encountered and maybe planets or space stations. Uggh! This is so frustrating. I can't remember enough of it.

I remember an MS-DOS game I played in the 90s (about early to mid; Mario Is Missing was another game in the computer too). I controlled a fighter jet (third-person vision) going through stages and defeating a massive aircraft at the end of each stage. I could also buy parts like different types of missiles, beam-weapon, etc. the most expensive weapon was (my guess as I didn't have enough points or money to buy it) a device with two infrared-light beam (?). One of the stages was on mars since almost everything was red.

There was an old PC game:

-It was a car racing game
-I played it on Windows XP
-You had to collect blue spinning arrows to fill up your nitro gauge
-I remember a level in Berlin and Vegas
-Sometimes there were cops waiting to chase you
-A car similar to a small Kia car

Been searching for it for days now
Any help would be appreciated

Sounds like one of Davilex's horrible racing games. :-D
With the tracks being all over the world, I'd check out "London Racer: World Challenge" (2003) first.

Have you had a look at the "Star Control" series yet? Maybe SC2?
