There was an old PC game:

-It was a car racing game
-I played it on Windows XP
-You had to collect blue spinning arrows to fill up your nitro gauge
-I remember a level in Berlin and Vegas
-Sometimes there were cops waiting to chase you
-A car similar to a small Kia car

Been searching for it for days now
Any help would be appreciated
Sounds like one of Davilex's horrible racing games. :-D
With the tracks being all over the world, I'd check out "London Racer: World Challenge" (2003) first.
THAT'S THE ONE! OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH! :D

Thanks for the suggestion. I just looked it up and no that wasn't the game, but it is on the right track. That's the closest I've come so far. I don't remember this game being about fighting. I think it was more strategy with the occasional fight that went down between species or another vessel. There was a lot of interaction with races from other planets and buying, selling, trading. Unfortunately, I don't remember the ultimate goal of the game. While I was looking up the game you suggested, another game was suggested on the site. I was called Wing Commander. It's also not the game I'm looking for, but it sounds like it's more along the lines of the type of game that I remember.

Also, I believe this was a CD-ROM game. I don't believe it was built in to the computer, if that helps.

Okay I remember playing a computer game at my daycare when I was around 6-7 or so years of age (can't really remember since it was so long ago. Plus I'm 20 if it helps.)
The daycare's owner's teenage son brought in this game. The characters were James and The Beast. James was like an agent of some sort maybe? The beast had an electric whip so when he'd use it it would launch an electric ball to make up for its short reach. It was a game where you would go up and down platforms, there'd be turrets on the ceilings. I remember some sections were shark tanks and you could see sharks swimming in them. The modes allowed for co-op gameplay versus and such. At the start of the game you would have james running towards you in an alley. He'd stop just in front and look from side to side before running out of sight. Then The Beast would come and stop in the same place to roar and then he would run off the screen. That's about every scrap I can dig out of my memory.

Hmm, other "Trading games in Space" that come into my mind would be e.g.
the first game in the "Wing Commander: Privateer" series (which does feature the "Kilrathi", cat-like alienrace in uniform),
http://www.gog.com/game/wing_commander_privateer

then the "X" series, with "X: Beyond the Frontier" being the game approximately matching your time frame
http://store.steampowered.com/app/2840/

and "Frontier: Elite II".

There is a game I am looking for, its a very old game from the 90's, It was played using a floppy disk. I have very vague memories of the game, but what i remember was that it was based on robots, you were in a spaceship i think and fought other robots which got more difficult over the levels you cleared. It was a first person game with 3D graphics. It is a very weak description i know, but there cant be too many 3D robot games on the floppy disks, right?
Out of the blue I'd say you played either the first or second game of the "Descent" series.

I remember playing a post-apocalyptic rts game on my cousin's pc when I was little. The introduction was a bomb dropping and a scorpion was turned giant. A tank comes down the street and attacks the scorpion and the intro ends. There were two campaigns, one where you played the blue "good" faction that used technology like the tank, and another where you played as the red "bad" guys that used the scorpions as weapons. The leader of the reds was bald and one of his eyes were messed up. There was a skirmish mode where there could be 1v1-3v3 battles.

If you could help me, I would appreciate. It's driving me crazy.

I have two games that I remember:

1) A PC game that came on our pc when we got it. It was a "locked in a room" sorta game that was set in a castle (I think). I vaguely remember a sword perhaps?

2) A platformer game that had the player as Little Red Riding Hood (it was fairy-tale based). This game came on a CD that was a collection of games for girls (no clue what the collections name was). It included other games, such as lemonade stand.

Thanks to anyone who might know what these are!

Hi! There is this side-scrolling game, I guess you could call it a bad platformer. I was really young when I last played it.
You played as a robot, I believe with a glass head. The first world was set in an icy landscape. Your goal was to unlock and reach a purple portal at the end of each level that resembled an oval shaped doorway, which would lead you to the next level, although your antagonists are aliens (seen in later level also wearing cowboy hats), I never encountered them when I played, thought I didn't get really far. You mostly fought your way through missiles, turrets and cannons. There were a lot of missiles, I remember. I think you could shoot, and the robot had some sort of springs, he could also duck. There were 'light' bridges you could activate.
I'm not sure what year this game was from, and I wouldn't say the graphics are good, but for the side-scroller it was, I think there was some rendering done. I played on my PC, but it could have come on other platforms.
You would think from a few searches you could find this game but I can't.
Please, if you know this game, feed my curiosity!

Thank you!

Hello, I'm looking for a RTS/RPG(not sure which one, maybe a bit of both) game back in about late 90's or early 2000's. The game has bird-eye view, and you can control a group of unit at at time(with hero). There are 3 factions to choose from and the gameplay will be different from the factions you choose which included:

1. Male faction, warrior type.
2. Female faction, mage or some kind of nun, I'm not sure.
3. Demon

At any rate, this game also contain DINOSAURS or that sort of thing, cause at least I remembered that I played this game because I love dinosaurs.(yeah, usually what you'd expected for a 90's kid.)
The game has dark fantasy theme, medieval era maybe. And the cover, which I remember rather clearly, there's a knight at the right side of it, and maybe some dinosaurs in the background with gloomy theme.

So that's all, Thanks for helping me out!

I am desperately trying to find an old computer game I used to play during the early 2000?s (or possibly late 90?s I can?t remember). The only part I remember about this game was a part where you had to cross a lagoon or something and you had to click on these large worms that were like the planks of a bridge. They were colorful and made a squirming sound when you clicked on them and you had to put them in a specific order to get the right pattern to be able to cross. I don?t remember much about the main plot of the game; I think there were a few main characters. I know this is not much to go on but any help is appreciated!!

Hey there !

I've been looking for a game I played waaay back in time, between 1999 and 2002 on PC.
Basically, your camera was locked on a 2dimension car which left a trail of your color. There was different color : purple, brown, green, orange, blue.
You could trap other players with the trail which makes them explodes when they hit it. The goal was to be the last alive.
The score was calculated with your trail length.
You could fire missiles depending on where the car is facing. With missiles, you could break the trail. Also, the whole map was surrounded by lava (or it was probably above). If you fire a missile towards the side of the map, it would explode, creating a passage to that other side of the map if you have shooted enough. I'll put down a picture to explain :

https://imgur.com/3swzVpr

Purple being the player trail
Grey is the platform
Orange is the lava

I tried to be as accurate as possible, hopefully someone will help me !

Hi, I am looking for two old games.

The first is a PC game that I think I played between 2000-2005, though looks pretty late 90s-y. It was a game where you could play different board games; yahtzee, chinese checkers, snakes and ladders, etc. It wasn't first-person. The board would just be there on the screen and you would click the dice to make them roll or click where you wanted to move on the board. The dice would make noise as they rolled. Your character would stand positioned next to the board, 2-D, facing you as you played. There was no background music, I think it was like eerily quiet haha, but sometimes your characters would make a noise or say something. I'm not sure if they said any actual real words.

You put in a name to have and chose a character. This would "save" or whatever and you could play as this person/name combination each time. You could have a few of these name/character combination "accounts" or whatever saved and chose which to play with each time. If you play single player obviously it would just be you, but if you played with two or more players they'd all have their name and character (possibly chosen from those pre-made accounts?). The characters weren't all pixelated or anything.

You chould choose from aliens or animals, maybe a human. They weren't meant to be but they were creepy looking. I think you could change their colours so like green or pink. Maybe in multiplayer mode each player would be a different colour?

Thanks for the help! :)

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post twice in a row like this, sorry!

The second game I'm trying to find is a kids PC game from like 2002-2006. The main characters were two friendly monsters. They were each just one solid, bright colour. So one was blue and one was red, or maybe one was green. It was a bright game.

One of the monsters was scared of vegetables. At one part they'd sit at the dinner table and maybe their parents would be telling them to eat their vegetables. The monster would get scared and maybe hide under his bed? In a sing-song kinda voice it'd be like "Gotta eat ya vegetables, gotta eat your vegetables, gotta eat your vegetables, oooh" (or some weird noise at the end haha). I think he might try to give his vegetables to the dog. Or maybe I just made that up.

I'm not sure how you made this happen but you could get it to do this scene where both the monsters are in their beds, outside a shop or something in the night. The shop lights are on. I dunno what's going on but I think it's like a scene you watch.

The other monster was scared of the dark. And the monsters had friends who were probably monsters.

I can't remember what you actually DO in this game or what interactions there are. Every now and then I search but can't find it. Someone once told me she owned it and said it was called "Scaredy Monsters" (or maybe I told her that) but I don't know if she was lying and also I have looked and can't find that.

This pretty much sounds like the intro to the first "KKND" (1997)
