plis help me.
a long time ago (between 1996 and 2002 [so the game must be 2002 or older]) I played in my neighbor's house on a CD of various games, a game in which the battle consisted of two towns though, the game began each player with just one man.
There were a lot of games like that.
Mega lo Mania? Probably not though, since it's almost a decade older. Some version of The Settlers?

I also have one game that I've been looking for. On some handheld system, likely on Gameboy Color or Advance. Japanese, dunno if it was ever released in English. It was basically a mix of Pokemon Snap and Yu-Gi-Oh: You went around taking photos of wild monsters, then turned those photos into cards that you used in card battles. Better photos (such as the wild monsters using various attacks) created better cards. ...it was a pretty interesting concept, and I'm just wondering if it ever had sequels or was translated.
unfortunately this is not the game I search. in my game the map was not only a partitioned like that and the characters were larger, not to mention you did not begin with castle, only one man wretched.

as the game you are looking for, never played, but his plot reminds me of the cartoon "chaotic" search for that name which can lead you to your destination.

another game i was seraching i a cellphone game i cant give any good informations of the cellphone but the game was like harvest moon, i dont need give more information because was almost the same thing.

I remember a game with a black background and green foreground. You ran through a jungle type environment, with crocodiles and I remember vines and spikes.
Maybe you could play as a girl too, that seems like something I remember. Thanks.
That's not nearly enough info to identify the game. Could be anything from Pitfall to Lara Croft: Relic Run.
Which platform? How long ago did you play it? In which direction did the character run? Was it 2D or 3D? Was it possible to stop and think about your next move, or was the character constantly in motion? Etc.

There was also a game for PlayStation 1, though I only played the demo from the PlayStation Underground demo disc. You were a little girl, and you ran around, looking for monsters to befriend. You sang to the monsters, and if they liked your singing, they followed you. That's about all I can remember, I was really young at the time. Any help would be great!!
Possibly Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure. That's not quite how the monster taming worked, but I'm assuming that you might be misremembering it.

So, there is this game on the iPhone that I played about three years ago. You were a suicidal boy or girl, and you were falling to the bottom of the ocean, or sea, or whatever. You had to dodge obstacles, like jellyfish, and at one point, you start swimming up. I believe you start with something heavy around your neck, then it comes off, and you swim up. I have looked EVERYWHERE for this game, but can't find it to save my life. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!
Even though some of the details don't match, that's almost certainly Today I Die. [http://jayisgames.com/review/today-i-die.php] Maybe the iPhone version had more content. There does seem to be a version called Today I Die Again.

There was a game on one of the old windows systems i used to play, either 98 or me i cant remember. You were this Donkey Kong like character in this level with sculls and stuff there were sometimes these platforms that disappear after a certain amount of times you walk over it. You were only shown part of the level and every time you hit the boundary you went into a continuation of it. The map wasn't just left to right either sometimes it went up and down.

Hi there-

I've been trying to find this game for years. My aunt gave it to me a long time ago, probably late 90's early 2000's. It was a purple disc and might have been called fairy world or land or something, but I have searched and can't find it. It had pretty instrumental music and you explored part of a forrest and could come across a house and a barn I believe. There were fairies hidden through the world and to move to another part of the world you clicked to the side and just moved over to the next part of the forrest/world. There was gold dust that did something, and I also remember that you could take pictures (hopefully of fairies) and develop them in the dark room in the game. I have no idea what the objective was, it was a children's game but it was really graphically beautiful (at least I thought so as a child). I'll try to remember more later but if anyone could help me out I would love it! Thanks.

Hey there!
I'm searching for a paticular 2D-Retro-game that I've played with my sisters around 1995-2002

here's a poorly drawn picture
http://www.directupload.net/file/d/3790/2n2etsme_png.htm

I remember these things:

- you could play 1vs1 against a friend on one PC (Windows 95, 98, ME) and choose a red or blue "ball", which was your "character". The goal was to shoot your opponent down a few times

- The game was in side view

- you could choose different fighting-arenas

- You could jump on different plattforms in that arena

- I think it was in a Christmas-Theme - the "balls" had a christmas hat (Santa hat)

- There were several weapons you could pick up, like a rocket launcher (or even a jetpack)

- There were Propellers (see picture bottom) that pushed you away if you got to close to them but you could also get through them if you had a good momentum

- I think in the main menu there was rudolph the red nosed reindeer but it hadn't got something to do with the game itself. I think it was just an advertising for another game

My sisters and me are searching for a few years now - so you are my last hope. Sorry for my bad english.
Cheers!

I played a short demo packaged with what I believe was an SSI game many years ago. I'm not sure which game included the demo, but it probably came out of one of the AD&D goldbox games, or possibly Eye of the Beholder or Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession.

All I know for sure is that it was overhead view, turn-based, medieval fantasy / sword and sorcery, sort of Warcraft-esque, and at least the one level which was available for play in the demo had you use certain units in the form of blue colored, clay-like humanoids which were used to create various other units and buildings. No idea about anything else.

I remember playing a game on the home computer when I was very young. Im thinking this will be from the late 80s early 90s? It was a rpg game, you could select your character (drawf, elf, etc) and character type. It was a top down view with a fantasy element. You fought monsters and vampires. For a long time I thought the game was called vampire but searches havent bought anything up. The most distinguishing feature of the game however was that when you died the game didnt end. You were taken to a heaven like place where you had to proove your worth. I never could though and when I was judged my character would be killed, disintergrated to ash and swept away. For years ive wondered what this game was but to no avail. Has anyone else played this?

Oh, i remembered you could also hit a key to "roll", and the scenario that sticks in my head was some kind of castle.

Ok, I will try one. There was a RTS game for PC that I played about ten years ago or so, I don't remeber a lot about the game, but I think the game was divided in chapters or missions and the first one was settled on a beach, it had no combat and pratically served as a tutorial for the game. The second mission had some combat, but I don't remeber much more about it. I also remember that when placing a building some green squares appeared underneath the building, similar to when placing a object in The Sims, to indicate where the building would stand and they turned red if you moved it to a place where it cannot be placed. Also, you couldn't freely place the building, you had to place it along a grid.

That's not a lot of information, but that's all I have. If you find a RTS whose the first mission starts on a beach and don't have combat, excluding "Age of" games of course, that may be enough.

I swear I have searched the whole internet looking for this game.

It was late 90's early 2000's. It was an adventure rob style game. You were a guy walking around a wild land/island or something. There were grassy bits and rocky bits. It was top down style very similar to Diablo 2 and nox. The main enemies you fought that I remember were dinosaur looking monsters. Their level was determined by what color they were. E.g the first ones you encounter were brown. Then the harder ones were the same dinosaur but purple.

Unfortunately I can't remember the aim of the game or much else.

Thanks in advance

Hello everyone. Since years i remember some kind of old free indie game for Windows. I played it around 2001 Summer and 2002 (max. 2003). That was 2D, top-viewed, ultra gory one; the goal was killing hundreds of soldiers coming from all over the screen. Protagonist was female and there was a nude mode for her in costumes menu (it seemed like made in mspaint). Also there was pixelated FBI logo in that game's intro; probably a reference to old arcade message "winners don't use drugs").

By any chance, do you know that game i mentioned?

ps: That wasn't a flash game. That wasn't Crimsonland.

I remember this game on my dads windows PC from the early to mid 90's (maybe even closer to 2000's). It was a Metroid looking game (person with a gun in a space suit) 2D, dungeon delving, and I feel like Sierra was the developer. The levels were alien worlds that were rectangular and just tunnels. will post more if i can think of more.

Today I Die is definitely the game! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

But I looked up Rhapsody ect., and I have a pretty clear picture of what this game was. It was third person, behind the girl, so it couldn't have been that. I'm really sorry I can't remember too much else about it.

Hey everyone, I remember playing this amazing RPG game about 15 years ago on PC. It was fairly reminiscent of ff3 on SNES having similar graphics and combat mechanics. I thought the title of it was something along the lines of "Prince's Journey" but I could never find it. The biggest details I can remember are that it had a birdseye view, you can have a party of people, (when you died it said "the party has perished!" But I never got far enough to recruit other teammates,)and that the first boss or demi boss type creature I encountered was some snake-like woman who kind of resembled Medusa. I think I remember her being more vulnerable to the ice spells that were available to the player. I also remember that in order to initiate the fight with her, you talk with some old man who has a crystal ball or something like that, who asks you if you are ready to take her on. Anyone have a clue what game this could be?
