Have been trying to remember a p.c. game from the late 80's.It had 7 c.ds. It was about an explorer, I think in the Arctic. When came upon a ship wreck. As he entered the ship he started having visions and ghosts started to appear. You then became this explorer. As you went thru the ship you had to explore all the rooms and try to figure out what the visions were about. you also had to figure out how to get into each room. The rooms had a 3 digit combination. In the end it turned out that the explorer was the son of the the ship's captain. ..................... Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I am searching for a game, that is really similar to "Altitude" https://altitudegame.com/
It´s also a 2D, coop game, that you can play with up to 4 players on one PC with a screen that scales to contain all 4 players.
Every team has a homebase which hase to be destroyed. You can also have several cpu controlled planes per team.

The most eyecatching thing might be the weaponary.
- Flame thrower: can set some parts of the map to fire and damage players
- bombs
- reversed magnet: throws back enemy weapons with a certain force
- Lemmings: They fall out of your plane and if not to high they overlife the fall and then start patroulling the ground and shoot at other players
- Digging: A sphere sourrounding the plane with which you can dig through the whole map except stone
- Laser beam
- Different shooting types
- Automated turrets
- Clone: You clone yourself and the clones just fly arround and distract the enemy, but cant shoot
- Beam: Just beam in the direction you are looking
- You could build up landscape and close corridors with some sort of foam
- There is water and acid, which physically responds and could be used to kill fires and redirected by digging

Also very eyecatching if you ever played it is the bomb rain, that accurs after some time when no one wins.

Played it 10 years ago but could be a bit older. Dont really know.

Thanks a lot!

I think you meant late 90's, CD-ROM games didn't exist before 1992, IIRC. The game you describe sounds like Morpheus.

Here's a list of "Cave Flyers": http://www.jonneweb.net/pelit/category/4/

Wings, Wings 2 and Tunnels Of the Underworld seem to be the most close to the kind of gameplay you mention. Looking at the list of weapons I'm almost 100% sure it's the latter.

Hello, This has been killing me, been trying tens of hours to find it. Even tried the youtube video list of every ps1 game covers a-z. read googled every game wiki for ps1. So anyways ill start.
It was a playstation 1 game, I'm pretty sure the cover was black with a mech warrior kinda looking guy, but all his extremities come to a point on the cover. (i'm pretty sure)

This one person is usually top left giving you advice along the way, but at the end of the game she betrays you and morph/mutates and you have to fight her. I always thought it was defcon 5, but i played it, and it wasnt it lol. Any help plz

I know there are tons of football/soccer games.

I remember playing this one in 1996 on a 386, MSDOS.

The thing that makes it pretty unique: before playing it, when you selected or built your team, the players or teams flags were animal cartoons. I remember a giraffe or something similar.

The game was isometric, pretty small (I guess 1 or 2 diskettes when arj. packed). We used to play this game by setting normal keys for player 1 and number lock block for player 2.

One more thing.. it was possible to do a "scissor kick" I remember that so vivid. It was fun playing it, maybe some of you will remember it's name and help me find it.

Thanks in advance

There's this one PC game that I've been trying to figure out for the longest. I don't know the name but I remember some small details from playing it as a child. It was an interactive game where you would have to click on items on the screen to collect them or interact with them. The protagonist was a female with blonde hair i think. I remember there was a part where this woman was crying on the side of a house and she was wearing a hooded robe. When you would interact with the woman she would reply by saying "I'm dead" and it would go to game over. Also I remember another part where you had to cross through some woods that were dark, but there was some kind of beast in the woods that was preventing you from crossing, so you had to find an item to use against the beast in order to get through. the graphics were not realistic, mainly cartoons for the most part. If anyone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi guys, i have 3 games i would like to remember, but I cant remember much.
1. you are a fish, and you live in this underwater city, you have your own house and you do quests (or something like that). it is not finding nemo XD. but i think it is similar to that.

2.it was/is a ps2 game. you were in this desert(sorounded by a mountain??? ) in a house. you had to go inside the caves and defeat some monsters or a boss. you were some kind of a fighter that lived in that house with his grandfather(?).

3.ok now this is kind of comlpicated to explain. what i can remember is: at the start you choose from a couple characters. there was a woman, a black guy(?), and a fatter guy, maybe more. so then you are at this house (your house ?) and you have to build defenses. there are a lot of rooms. one of them is a room where all your money located. soon after that some thiefs invade it and you have to defeat them. and then you train your army(?), you can also use your boat to send them somewhere to fight.

well i hope i helped as much as i can by describing details, maybe someone will recognize at least one game :D.
I think the fish game might be freddi fish?

There where multiple spells youd pick up along the way, ranging from egyptian spells(the first you attain) to demonic, to necromancer, to technology, to magic trick magic(cards, hat and rabbit kinda magic) it was a pc game and came with a huge list of spells inside the case. single player(or so i remember)

plis help me.

a long time ago (between 1996 and 2002 [so the game must be 2002 or older]) I played in my neighbor's house on a CD of various games, a game in which the battle consisted of two towns though, the game began each player with just one man. you was the blue man the enemy was yellow, I could never do anything in that game because not had any idea of how to play but I saw my enemy somehow build tents get a wife to make children and from there begin to build a real city which contained markets houses and stuff. I would find that this game was because neither the lists of old rts are helping me.

I remember playing a game about 9-10 years ago where you played as a werewolf type character in a top down scenario and you had to solve puzzles while avoiding spiders, snakes and rats.
I also remember you could use bombs to destroy things and there was one level in particular that I remember in which you had to run in spirals away from a bomb chain that was chasing you with explosions.

There were a lot of games like that.
Mega lo Mania? Probably not though, since it's almost a decade older. Some version of The Settlers?

...that'd be King's Quest VII.

There was computer game that I played in the early 1990's that I can't remember the name of. It was a scifi game that reminded me of startrek. I think you chose your character and maybe named your ship. You would travel around and trade with different species on different planets or stations. I don't remember if there was any fighting involved or if it was just about improving your character and ship. There may have been different missions you had to complete. I do remember one of the characters on the game looked catlike or maybe foxlike and I think female, but of course wore a "starfleet-like" uniform.
Kind of sounds like Project Nomad, except there was no way to improve the character (just the ship). ...and I suppose this could pass off as a "starfleet-like" uniform:

I also have one game that I've been looking for. On some handheld system, likely on Gameboy Color or Advance. Japanese, dunno if it was ever released in English. It was basically a mix of Pokemon Snap and Yu-Gi-Oh: You went around taking photos of wild monsters, then turned those photos into cards that you used in card battles. Better photos (such as the wild monsters using various attacks) created better cards. ...it was a pretty interesting concept, and I'm just wondering if it ever had sequels or was translated.

Edit: Found it. Snapkid's, one of the earliest GBA games. Japanese only, which is a damn shame. It's just as much fun as I remember it being, mixing best parts of Pokemon Snap, main Pokemon series, and collectable card games. Too bad that it seems to have flown under everyone's radar.

I can remember playing an old RTS game on the PS2 and later on the PC, and it kind of mimicked the style of Red alert, kind of. The graphical style was probably closest to Red Alert 2 but slightly better, and it was your simple basic, Blue Vs Red RTS.

The game may or may not have had the mechanic of refugees too, where they were rescued and brought back to a HQ / Barracks. (I say may as i can remember the mechanic vividly from my first time playing it, but when i found it again some years later, i couldn't seem to find a mission focusing on it, though admittedly i was only messing around with the game for a short time)

One thing i can vividly remember for god knows what reason, is the opening cinematic / cut scene for the game which consisted of both forces occupying this city. it goes on for a while, but one specific scene i remember is civilians running and an abandoned baby in a pushchair (stroller, pram, baby carriage whatever you want to call it) in the middle of the road, being approached by a Tank. Some infantry are fast-roping from a Chinook to the side, anyways, one runs and gets the baby out of danger and to it's mother with the 'just in the nick of time cliche'
