Hi I need to find out about a PS1 game I cant remember from around 1994-1996ish...

It was a multi character game, you could be 1 of about 5-7 characters, it was 1 or 2 player. It was a 3rd person type game. I can remember having to kick vending machines for health/power ups. One of the villans on level 3ish was a woman that had whips.

The first level you would be attacked by a group of men in the street (remind me of agents from Matrix)then you would walk into a building, beating more people up as you went, then you would face HER. It wasnt just fighting, there were guns aswell.

I would always pick a girl character and one of her main moves was she would spin on her head kicking with her legs doing the splits.

i remember playing an old pc game when i was younger cant remember the name but at the start of the game you use stones weapons then when you complete all the quests for that area you go to the next area you can use ivory weapons then obsidan weapons and ect. thats all i can remember bout it please repy if you know what game im talking about also to get to the next area you go through a portal

theres this game i used to play i cant remember most of it though i think it started in like a cell pit and when the guard comes down you beat him up and escape after your gone you make your way home but as soon as you get ther your girlfriend is kidnapped i dont remember much more but i think you used like a little bouncey ball as a weapon anybody have any idea what it is thanks

Hey all i am really hoping someone could help its a really annoying thing playing a sweett ass game you cant remember. It is ps1 i played it on a demo your on a ship and its first person you walk around talkingto people, solving issues and your the go between guy and right at the end the ship is goingto crash and one guy dependent on how u play locks himself in the only room in the ship where you can survive or you can get in with him. Sorry for the terrible memory but i must of play this going on 12 13 years ago. Deffo ps1 but with all the demos i would never find it thanks

Could very well be "Sentient" by Psygnosis you're talking about, an obsure first person sci-fi jewel for PS1 and PC.

Hi pople, I'm new here.

The reason for my joining is about an old game that I can't remember the name of.

I don't remember a lot, because the last time I've played was 9 years ago...
Well, all I remember is a fighter (space fighter, future) that destroys all enemies and move to a new level, however, there are PLANETS to choose, like you choose the levels you wan't to proceed.
I remember a mission you were with some "wingmen" helping you.
I think the game was Arcade, but in 3D (Colony Wars for example).

The things I perfectly remember are the planet choices and the level with wingmen.

I'm sorry for the lack of informations, but thats all I remember. Plus I'm searching for that game for 2 years and I still can't remember it's name.

Sounds like "Colony Wars 3: Red Sun", but since you already mention "Colony Wars", try "Blast Radius" and "Star Trek: Invasion".

Hey, so i played this game my sister had when i was young. its from somewhere in the 90's and you played as a female detective (i think she had red hair) and you explored a house/mansion and the grounds around it for clues. i dont remember much but there was a playground that if you sat in the swing there would be a hole in it which basically killed you and you had to start over. i cant really remember anymore sadly and neither does my sister. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

OK, so I had a lot but I figured them all out bar 2.

1 I only remember playing on a PS1 demo, and one of the later demos if my memory serves me correctly. Basically it was a 3rd person kinda thing and you played as a spider/crab style robot and I'm not sure what the objective was but I just remember walking around a pale, white/grey boatyard style area I think (no boats or water, just that import dock kind of environment). There were other similar robots that I'm pretty sure shot the SHIT out of me, and there may have even been humans in black combat uniforms (but that could be a completely different game). I THINK it was on the same demo as the Spice Girls: Spice World game :')

Second was a racing game on Sega Megadrive. It was I think from the early 90s and there were 4 types of car available (I can't tell you exactly the stats of the cars, only that on a selection screen they were lined up side by side and you could choose from a palette of basic colours). I can't remember much about the actually gameplay, only that one of the songs playing was a sort of 8-bit fuzzy guitar version of Black Sabbath - Paranoia (and this song was played throughout the opening credits). Also, it was set in space. There were multiple planets with different race tracks and MAYBE even bosses that you could "buy" the planets off.

The first game you're talking about is very likely "Ghost in the Shell".

Hey, I obviously don't remember this game, I only played the demo...But, it was about a little boy and girl who went to sleep and have a nightmare or something, in the demo you play as the boy, you're in a weird place like a cementery with monster, and you can only defeat them when you enter a toybox thingie and transform into a ninja or something like that. Plz tell me, Thnx for your time!^^

I'm sooo excited. I've been hunting for the names of these games for years & while searching google I came across this thread. Sadly i haven't come across the games in the 18 pages of this thread. Hopefully someone will vaguely remember these games from my poor description. I apologise for how bad it is in advance.

The 1st game is a spy/detective(??) game that came out maybe early 90s(?) you could sign up for emails or phone calls from the company. If I'm not mistaken the box was large like a board game?

The 2nd game was for Commadore 64. It was close to Knight Games, but you tried to rescue the princess. I remember seeing a sword fight with a castle background. Then I think you can marry the princess that you rescue?

I hope you guys have a better clue about these games than I do. Sorry for the horrible descriptions

The C64 game you're talking about might be "Save Me Brave Knight", this is merely a suggestion.

Hi! I have been trying to remember this game for so long now.
It's pretty old. I played it when I was little.

- it had a person running on a pyramid type thing.
- and collecting jewels/ diamonds
- on some levels a devil looking thing would come up and try to kill you.
- there were also skeletons trying to kill you.
- you could get an extra life by capturing a heart.

please help!

If it's on Commodore 64 it could perhaps be "Aztec Challenge".

I always forget the name of the game PS1, pretty much you play either a female or a male character kinda platform based level and the male is like a jester and the female is like a mage witch sort of character.

Hi guys I came across this thread by accident. I'm looking for a play station 1 game , it had little pill men, you used blocks to build weapons such as guns, tanks etc and it had a lot of swearing in it! The aim of the game was to destroy all the enemy pill men. Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Hello i've been looking for this one game for years i hope someone could give a clue.

PSX dungeon game, I played it on a demo disc I think in the demo you started as a white guy in a small town there was a water well with a giant octopus inside (you need to enter the well first there is a short black-loading screen everytime you enter any place)

IF your character died the game WAS NOT over, after the dudes dies you play as a woman maybe his girlfriend and you could go where your other character died and pick a gem or ball and save him doing that, so if the woman dies you can now play as the dude and go pick the womans gem or ball.... by the way you could also use those magic balls to have thunder power or something.

1. You can buy armor and weapons
2. If your guy dies you play as a woman and can go where the guy died and pick a ball to save him
3. giant octopus inside the water well like 10 meters from the entrance
4. rare monsters and power balls that gives you powers like thunder etc

This is a fantasy RPG of some sort you play as 2 characters but NOT at the same time, one needs to die well i already said that a lot but its the most distinctive feature of that game.

That is most likely "Ergheiz" on Playstation. You're talking about the Story Mode; the Arcade Mode offers a Tekken-like fighting game.

I am looking for a game from the early 90's where you started off in a room with a pedestal and your whole quest was to find a druids dagger and get it back to the pedestal. I cant remember much else from the game except maybe the dagger could kill vampires or somesuch. Any help would be great.

Somebody PLEASE help me find these games! I played them in the early 2000's and I only remember certain pieces to each game. I'm pretty sure they were for the PS2.

In the first game I'm pretty sure you are a rat or something similar to a rat.
-There is a part in the game where you give a cow or some animal cheese and he explodes.(It's near a barn)
-There's a boss in a circular arena who is electric-like and comes back to life after being killed once.
-You have to go through hay stacks and find a pin.(This one I might be thinking of another game)
-The game isn't just in a farm area, but that's all I remember about it!

For the second game, I'm pretty sure you're also some animal, but I could be mistaken.
-From what I remember, the plot of the story was that one of your family members or friends were taken away from some giant evil bird and you go on an adventure to get them back. When it happens, you're sitting on the couch watching tv with the person when the bird comes in through the window.
-At a boss fight(possibly the last one?), there's pads on the floor and some electrocute you.
-I think there's a part where you're in some western ghost town with a bunch of baddies.

I know those aren't the best memories of the games, but if you can remember/find them please let me know! I've been searching for them for a while and couldn't find those two, but I did find one other game I was looking for(I-Ninja). So trust me, I looked before I came here!

I remember i played a game in 2000 or 2001 i think where you would start in a village and should steal an uniform from the enemy that you could wear right when you got it or whenever you wanted, after that you sould give to a drunk some alcohool and then he would give you his car that you could drive to the enemy base where you would have to destroy a seif and then run from the base, now if yuo didnt use the unifor you could equip it and escape with less effort but when you were about to cross a bridge the enemy would expolde it and if you were unlucky you could lose the mission, but if you got lucky and past the bridge before they would blow it up you win the mission i think i dont remember.
Another mission was to "drive" a plane from a carrier and destroy a train.And that is all i can rememer, but i think you were a spy, i don't know.

ive got a game thats been stuck on my mind since the day i stopped playing it, back in the 90's. i cant remember if it was playstation 1 or not, but it was about a boy in this sidescroller adventure, where sum hostile creature would come out of nowhere and if you didnt jump out of the way in time or sumthin, it would devour the boy gruesomly. i.e., in the beginning you're in a cave and this creature comes from the wall and would chomp down on the top half of the boys body. very gory stuff and i want to play it again, but i cant find it anywhere.

Perhaps you mean "Another World", aka "Out of this World" in US.

Sounds more like Heart of Darkness to me.

I am new here.

I remember playing an old rpg game with the main character being a wizard. He had I think blond/yellow hair and had to do quests to help villages that were in need of aid (think it were goblins and such that were the bad guys that you could fire your wand on). He got the quests from a talking bird, a crow or a raven.

It was in 2D but more modern than DOS games. It was a story you followed from beginning to the end (ok, I understand this will define almost every game...).

I also remember that there was an option that u could turn off the roof graphics of houses when u were in a village so that u could look in the houses.

I remember 1 image where the wizard ran on wooden hangbridge, where if he walked over some sort of item he got a speedbuff (I think...?).

Its all very vague and am guessing it must be more than 10 years old, played with Win 95 or 98 perhaps.

Oh and I think in the end the talking crow transformed in a human/wizard...
