I remember an old pc game that had zombies and the zombies were green squares and the backdrop was black and there were power up things that would fall from the sky and you would try to survive for the longest time to get a good score and when the zombies would attack you it looked like they were humping you and your weapon was laying mines or something and the powerups would upgrade your mines to have either have the ability to place more mines or make the explosion bigger and have like fragmentation or something. The game might have started with the letter B.

Edit 1. I asked a friend and he said the game was Bombie Zombie

Hi, quite a few years ago I played this RPG game on psx/ps2/psp (I don't really remember). The main character was a kid who had some kind of knife, and it would look like a red light sword when he used his "powers". I don't remember much, but I think it was a turn-based rpg in third-person.

Thanks!
This makes me think of Mana Khemia 2 (though the male MC's sword was blue)...or perhaps an Atelier Iris game?

I'm looking for an old 90s game, I think it was one of a couple hundred simple games on a disk. You flew around in a ship like the asteroids game and you tried to land on planets to take them over. When you took over a planet it got a turret on it to defend against the enemy who was doing the same thing. It was all basic geometric shapes and the colors determined who was who. I also remember that you had to be careful in landing, you had to slow down when you touched down so you didnt crash onto the planet. It got really fast paced and exciting.
My first guess would be the "Graviton" games, which came out in 1992/93.

If it's not, I'd start my search looking for games similar to "Lunar Lander" and the like.

OK so I remember this game (I think on the X-box) and it was fantastic. I think I played it in the 2000s, and it was a open world game where you had to save your girlfriend from a bunch of monsters (i.e. skeletons, ghouls, ghosts, banshees, etc.) and a haunted mansion. I'm remembering the title as Got by the Goonies but I don't think it's right because I can't find it by searching it. Every once in a while if you got scared you would have to press buttons in the right order quickly to stay alive. You received some weapons you used to help you defeat monsters, the most memorable for me are a fire extinguisher in the kitchen and a squirt gun outside. If you took too long, the grim reaper would come and get you and strum his scythe like a guitar and you would lose. Man it was a great game and I can't think of it. Thank you to anyone who tries to help!
You were close with the title, it?s Grabbed by the Ghoulies.

It's definitely that style, but the view is from space and the planets are circles. I remember playing against my dad when I was younger, so it must be multiplayer, though I dont remember if there was AI or if it was strictly played with friends. I want to say there were other ship types and I think there were suns that had an influence on gravity.

The first game that came to mind was lunar lander but I didn't remember that game name either haha, so maybe that will get me on the right track.

Spacewar kind of reminds me of it a bit but there was a strong emphasis on capturing planets.

Alright, so I have not played this game for ages and I really want to dig it back up, although I cannot find the box for it and can hardly remember anything about it.
The game was a arcade style racing game that I believe I played on either the PC or xbox. I cannot remember much apart from the fact that there MAY have been mario kart style pickups on the track? But there was DEFIANTLY destructible buildings, you could drive though the supports and they would fall down. The cars were also designed in a way so that if you flipped it upside down, it could still drive because the wheels extended above the car aswell.
Ill have a little more of a think about it and see if there is anything else I can remember.
The only racing game I remember where you could drive upside down, would be

"Rollcage" (1999), which came out on PC and PS1.

If you loved it, you might be happy there's a spiritual successor in the making and it's already early access.

That's it! Thank you so much!

Lets give this a go then, shall we? Ive been looking for a game. Ill try my best to describe everything I can recall from this game. I dont know that the game even still exists on the market, but here we go.

This game was a smartphone game. I played it on Android, but I believe it was also on iPhones. It was a game about some demon (kinda like the devil) basically kidnapped you and brought you to another dimension of some sort and you dont have any memory of how you got there. Youre a young male kid. Throughout the game you have flashbacks of regaining memories or something, remembering you at school with friends and such before being kidnapped. Theres also cutscenes where you like, basically grow angel wings in your shadow and such. The game has portals that you find in each, uhh, world or section? That lead to the next world / section or whatever after you kill a "boss" to unlock it. The only boss I remember fighting was this "earth bender" like guy, who would stomp and cause pillars to come up out of the ground after you, and he would jump and spin with his swords. You also fight the main demon and after you beat him he runs away (probably to fight later, I never finished the game) You could change the game settings to slow mo or speed things up, I remember this cause I had to go slow mo to beat that boss haha. There were also videos all over youtube for this game. You gained levels, and had an inventory where monsters you killed would drop things to pick up (walking over them picked them up automatically) There was a small group of others who join you but stay in a "base" like area, you could go to them to make potions or save progress or get your missions. There were flying dragons and jellies that you would encounter in random rooms - as the game was side scroller ish, when you approached the walls of a room it would scroll to another room. Monsters would regenerate after youve been 2 rooms away, which was how you would train to level up, keep running back and forth 2 rooms.

I think I remember the game having a japanese title with the english translation below it. I also think you got a gun in the game as one of your weapons, although not 100% sure on that one, but your sword was your main weapon.

Heres to hoping someone else has played this game. It was very long, and I never finished it, and it was beautiful. I would like to get it again. I have had 3 new phones since playing this and cant remember the name to reget it, or even youtube it to at least see how it ended. Thanks in advance

Okay folks, I have two I'd appreciate some help with! :) I'll give as much detail as I can.

1. NES game with two modes.
Mode 1: space shooter/sidescroller ala Tyrion, Gradius, etc.
Mode 2: spacesuit platformer with jetpack and gun (can't think of a similar game right now).
I remember the color scheme had a lot of blues and the space suit was orange (not sure about the ship).
I don't remember the story or objectives-- I think you would transition to the spacesuit mode periodically throughout the sidescrolling, then have to destroy something inside a room/building.

2. Fighting game on PC, probably played it in early to mid 2000's. I can't remember where I got it. All of the characters were small (kind of like what you'd see in a Final Fantasy game, maybe?). I think there were three attack types (light, heavy, special sort of thing).
I remember a werewolf/beast man type character, a character with a crossbow, a mage with a spellbook. The game might have been in Japanese. I remember a general impression of a green color scheme (to the menu, maybe).

Any help appreciated! I realize now how hard it is to describe a game you barely remember lol.
As far as the NES game goes... the first two that come to my mind that (kinda) fit that description are Xexyz [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-A9l8Qgj_SU&nohtml5=False] and Layla [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Erl4ygNN50I].

EDIT: Actually, it's probably Air Fortress [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwL41Da9NMI&nohtml5=False] you're thinking of.
Yes!! Thank you so much! :D It's Air Fortress!

Guys. I need your help. I played a first person shooter game on the PC when I was a child. I think it first starts on the cave and there was some platforming involved and there was that level where you are in the village and the village gets raided so you help defend the village and it also had a different variation where it was raided by Centaurs I think? There was also a level where you were in an underground water cave and there was a beach ball and a crocodile and a steel door. (That's how far I was on the game) Please help me.

okay so there's this old 90's game and I don't remember much but basically it's nighttime and there's this little kid wandering around and the house is empty. he then goes through a window or tv and then the next thing I remember is he's walking through a maze. the whole time, the color of the light is blue/purple because of nighttime. I know it's not much to go on

Ok, I will give it a second go. This was a game I played in the 2000's I think(PC, Windows). It even had a sequel. In the game your heroes were somehow summoned through a portal, but scattered throughout the game and you would eventually find them through quests. There was no free roam. You would just be in a city that looked very similiar to the Swords and Sandals Gladiator games, just one street with shops and a pub and stuff. You would get a quest and go fullfill it and then return to the city. It was fantasy, there was magic, elements, dragons, forests, necromancers, wolfs etc. It was 2D, pixelated, the view from above but a lot further above than rpgs usually have, the view was more similiar to real time strategy games. And again, eternal gratitude to whoever can help.

Oh my god! That is it! You beautiful beautiful person! I totally forgot about the shapes inside the planet and the launch station, but that is 100% it! I guess the "different" ships I was thinking of were the things orbiting the planet, and the turret weren't physical turrets just bullets that come out of the planet haha. I was probably like 10 years old when I played it. I'm not sure why I though the sun was involved, but I am really happy to know someone else had played lol.

Hey all. Was thinking bout a PC RPG I played back early-mid 2000s when I was a teen. It was one of those RPGs where you move around a map tile by tile. I remember playing a mage (one of a few classes) and there being schools of elemental magic (like elemental, buffs, and others I can't remember at least for the mage), as well as sun and dark factions or some other set of 2 or 3 factions later on. I also remember there being a variety of creatures but I vividly remember an area with higher level dinosaurs northward from the starting area. I also remember getting a cool item before I quit which let you rip enchants off items. You could also interact with other players to party up as a buff mage with a warrior for instance to go killing creatures and when roaming the map you could come across other faction's players and kill them if on the same tile. I also remember playing a mage learning a bunch of buffs and selling my buffing skills to other players for currency.

Help would be appreciated thx.

Edit: The game wasn't firstperson moving around or anything, it's one of those ones where there's an image every time to change tiles and your party is on the left side of the screen, enemies on the right, and the characters are just pictures rather than avatars.

Yeah it makes me really happy to know someone else played and enjoyed it too! My brother and I still talk about it, even though we only had the shareware version. :)

Okay trying to explain this game always makes me sound silly, but I'm going to give it a shot. I'm thinking 90s to early 00s max? It was a computer game I'm sure. When you played it was like, a bunch of little mini games/activities? But the main screen was like, quite possibly on the moon or some alien planet, and everyone was standing on these platforms? and the platforms you clicked were different things. And "everybody" were... not humans, they were little alien creatures? They had 2 legs but i'm not sure if they had arms. Everything in that area had tones of like greys and biege, from what I remember?
The only minigame i specifically remember honestly involved like, a Wild Western Salon type deal? I forget what you did there but I think it involved color matching or mixing, it definitely involved colors.

I am potentially remembering two different games, I think here was more than one game in this series. I briefly thought they were called Fuzzles but googling that proved me wrong, haha.

Okay. This is going to be a tough one.
This is a gameboy game, and I'm convinced that it's pre-game boy advance. I don't remember a ton from the game which is why it's such a shot in the dark.
It's a turn based rpg, I remember at the beginning of the game, you start out with your village under an attack of some sort, it's raining really hard, and eventually you have to head north in your village to fight a bad guy that is well beyond your skill, I believe you have help. I do remember that this takes place on, or around a bridge. That's basically all I remember, super addicting game. I do remember it being relatively easy to get through, like it wasn't a crazy grind or anything . I think you have 4 or 5 characters to control by the end of the game. Either the first or second one you get is a female character with strong Magic capabilities. I remember being able to use magic very early in the game too.

That's about all I can remember. Must have been 15 years ago now. Thanks for anyone who even tries to make suggestions, I haven't given you much of anything here.

This game always stays on my mind for a while every time I remember it. It's so hard to describe because I can't remember a lot. It was a ps2/ps1 game can't remember which system, but I know it was like a puzzle game where you were in a room I believe and you had to complete the task given in order to go to the next room or stage or whatever it was. It was a plain white room with whatever you had to complete inside the room I think. It was a very hard game but it was so fun and I really want to remember it again but I really can't, thats just about it. When I think about it now it kinda reminds me of the concept of portal had but I think it was older than portal.

There's this small online game I've been trying to remember.
You are a hero trying to defeat a large demon which is in the top middle of the screen. You do so by choosing a structure to place on the world each turn, after which the hero would move around and do things. There are eight of the structures, and they are on the sides of the screen.
Grow RPG: http://www.eyezmaze.com/grow/RPG/INDEX.HTML
...I'm surprised that nobody else got it yet, I thought that the Grow-series is popular.
