Hi everybody!
At start, I would like tell sorry for my English.
I register on escapist only because of that game:
I play it on PC. It was 3D platformer/arcade running game with humanoid frogs as playable characters. Player could select one of them: green frog, red frog, and short, blue turtle or penguin (not sure). It was maybe only demo, because that animals stand on columns, and a lot of them doesn't have any animal..

After it, player could select "map" or just "road".
Roads were built by color-squares. The animal just run forward, and player can only change route (left or right) or probably jump through holes. A lot of squares had effects (Animal can change direction by 180 degree or even 90).
Road was suspended in space similar to sky (or something like sky, background was just blue).

Again, I'm really sorry for my bad English... Can anyone help?

Hi!
I hope someone among you can help me.
I've been looking for a long time for a game I was used to play around 25 years ago. I played it on an Olivetti PC (8086 or 80286 processor, I can't remember, but maybe this can help you to figure out the game).
I can't recall it in details. I guess it was a platformer like Donkey Kong because it had a guy trying to escape from something. Each screen had different floors all made of bricks. The floors were connected by stairs. In order to escape, the little guy :) was able to use fire and melt the bricks of the floor he was in and thus falling to the floor below.
I think the avatar was white. What I remeber clearly was the colour of the bricks/floors: cyan.
I spent so many hours playing it that it's almost embarassing I can't figure out the name!
Thank you for your help!

Okay I remember playing this game when I was younger, and I'm pretty sure it was on PS1 but you could choose to play between one of two little kids,a brother or his sister.I think that the brother used a teddy bear as a weapon and the sister used a candle as her weapon.
It's been so many years since I've played it so I can't really remember much about it but any help you can give me would be great!

I remember a game about an Italian plumber that jumps around a lot, what's it called? JK...

There was a game with 3 heroes, dwarf, man, woman who battle goblins and skeleton things. A side scrolling beat em up like Double Dragon...
My guess would be Golden Axe [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1v7VL4P4tbI], in one of its many versions.
Ah yes, Golden Axe sounds like the one! Thanks :)

I don't think anyone will know this one.

I remember VERY little of it, so sorry if the details aren't exact.
I think I played this game back when I was like 5 or 6 years old, but I have no idea when it was made. It was for the PS1. I don't remember what you had to do in the game, but it was some sort of RPG that included a bit of platforming, where you controlled a kid(?) (or two of them, pretty sure they were two). Sometimes you had to fight monsters, or some similar stuff. Its music was somewhat creepy (I do remember that this game gave me nightmares, but I doubt it was intended to be scary). The thing I remember the most is that there was a stage where it was night time, raining, and you had to jump through pillars of some sort.

This information is really speculative, but I'll be glad if someone tried to link me to an at least similar game.
Is it perhaps in the Arc the Lad series?
Nope, definitely not that one. Now that I think of it, it wasn't really an RPG, and it was 3D, if that helps at all. Thanks anyways. :)
EDIT: Someone already got it, it was 40 Winks. ^-^

Hi!
I inscribed to this page to find out if anyone could help me finding this game. It was an old one, probably Windows 95 or previous.
I don't remember much about it, but it was about some kind of blob who had to collect flowers and wood to build little houses and other stuff. I think it had a 3d view from above, but camera could not be rotated.
That's about all i can remember disgracefully.
Does anyone recall a game similar to that one?
Thanks in advance!

"I've traversed the internet, I've asked family members who were there at the time, I've posted in forums, I've combined every conceivable word in google search and google images, I've even asked yahoo questions. Nothing. I am reaching out to reddit. If there is anything that can fix a thing like this, it's reddit. There has to be someone on here who knows the game I'm talking about. I did not imagine/dream this. Basically, I was playing this as a 5-8 year old. I'm not sure of the release date but my age probably means it was a windows 95/98 release. There was a young girl character (brunette). You didn't really control her, she was more like your guide. The entire thing was setting in a boarding school (prep school for the benefit of American readers). The main screen was the outside front entrance of this school. There was a sports area, the main hallway, a classroom, a dining room, a kitchen, a girl's dorm room, a house for the teachers and if memory serves, a pub (only 50% sure on this one). There is a female cook and a female headmistress and I think (again, not 100%, a male teacher). There are some biology materials (plant parts poster) in the classroom. Anyway, some shit goes down about a cake (I think it was someone's birthday and you weren't allowed in the kitchen). That's pretty much all I remember about the plot. It was point and click and you had to find certain things at various points during the game (although nothing like the modern 'find-the-item' stuff). The entire game was 2D with painted backgrounds and environments. The whole thing had a very Enid Blyton feel to it. It sounds silly and girlish but I loved it as a child and I'd love to see it again. If you know what this game is called or even remember playing something similar, for the love of God, please tell me because it's driving me insane. My loved ones are getting concerned :)."

I think the "Hidden & Dangerous" series had that as well.

The first one happens to be freeware.

The "Cultures" games are the closest I can think of atm.

https://www.gog.com/game/cultures_12

But "old game" isn't really helpful, you know. It's as meaningless as "used to play as a kid". :-D
We don't know you personally, so there's no way we can narrow the search down.
Please give us something. A time-frame, a system (PC (maybe also an Operating System) or console)... :)

Hi, I really want to find the name of this game: I think you could play single player but all I remember is being able to play split screen, you were in suits kinda like iron man.. And we're fighting against eachother round a city or abandoned city.. You could super jump onto buildings/skyscrapers and possibly fly Aswell.. It was an old game on the ps2 around about 2000-2008 the head on the suit was like an oval.. Similar to halo suits but not
