I would be ever so grateful if someone could help me with remembering the name of this damn game I use to play back in the day !!
It had to be mid 90's - early 2000's
I played it on PC but it might have also been available on other systems
It was kind of like Zombies ate my neighbors (snes)
It was an RPG and I think you're like a bald plumber/maintenance man/janitor or something.
There was different levels and your main goal was to kill monsters or zombies if I remeber correctly.

I have a request for a fairly simple, possibly even crude, space game. Since I played it at a friends house around the year 2000 I don't know if this was a standalone game or a mini-game inside another game.

Each player would start with one planet on a map with many planets. All the planets that did not belong to any player were gray. Each player's planets were their color. Red, yellow, etc.

Each planet produced units, but each planet had a different production: the number of units per turn and the units win(or possibly damage?) percentile. All the units were the same though and thus I don't know if the game remembered where the units were spawned or if the planet you attacked from determined the unit's strength.

You would send your units from a planet to another planet and it would take a different amount of turns for them to reach based on the distance. There was no way to tell or see any units during their journey so surprise attacks were common.

Any ideas?

Super simple graphics. Turn based. Old.
Maybe Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, although I own it I never played it....

I was wondering if someone could help me out with the name of this game, I've tried searching the web but could not find it.
I played it back in the early nineties on a MsDos shell 4.0 computer, other games that I played around that time that I do remember the names of are: commander Keen, Pacman, Pong, Skunny, Rockford, Bricks, Zool, jack jazz rabbit etc.

In the game you were some kind of wizard/magician, the game has a 2D sideview, you needed to collect a key and get to the door safely to finish a level, for extra points you could also collect coins. to navigate through the levels there were brick blocks that you could walk on and ladders to go up or down. if you stood next to a block of material (ladder or brick, or coin or monster) you could copy it and then create it on another filled or empty block, such that they would change into the thing you copied. you needed to do this often either to open up blocked passages, fill in a gap or to avoid the monster(s). at that time the monsters looked to me like some kind of crab or spider.

I hope any one know the title of this game, thanks in advance for you help!

Okay so, this has waaaayy to many pages for me to comb through to see if anyone's already asked about this game, so here we go.

It was an old game, but I can't remember the system it was on. It was a vertical shoot-em-up game where you controlled a plane or spaceship, not sure which. It was a standard shmup, except that you had to collect these orbs to change your weapon, and your attack changed depending on the most recent three orbs you collected. So Green-Green-Blue was one combination that made you fire a certain way, but Blue-Blue-Green was a similar but different attack pattern.
I'm fairly certain the game was released in English, but I remember there being Japanese text, though it might've been a setting or something (it was at an anime convention that I played it)

Thanks for the reply, and it looks cool but Alpha Centauri has way too much going on.

The game I'm looking for has no diplomacy, no resource or planet management at all. The planets just build each turn.

EDIT: also, it's just like Galcon (which I recently rediscovered) except it has turns and you cannot see the units in transit from planet to planet.

I literally had to join because I need to figure out if this game I had was real or a vivid dream of some sort. It was between at least 2002 to 2009. All I can remember of the game is a cutscene where the male protag is screaming about God knows what and when you actually play the game you have to collect these weird realistic glowing beating hearts. You also have like these metal claw hand gloves as a weapon I think and honestly it wouldn't surprise me if I dreamt this up because I can't find it any where.

Hello everyone! I need your help!

I was playing this game on PC (Windows XP) somewhere between 1998 and 2004. The game might have been released earlier than that or as late as 2004. I can't remember if it was new at the time or when exactly I was playing it, but it definitely wasn't released after 2004. It had first person camera and you could probably categorize it as mystery or adventure. It had a dark setting, I remember most of it, if not all, taking place during the night (at least for as far as I reached in the game) and I characteristically remember crow in it (they could just be adding on the dark setting or play a bigger role, I can't remember). The protagonist was male that had some kind of amnesia. There weren't any other humans in the game, at least not on the early stages of it, and there was some kind of catastrophe that had occurred. If I'm not mistaken the point of the game was to figure out what has happened in the area and why everyone vanished. You were trying to gain access to new areas or buildings to find more info and in order to do that you were gathering things to your armory. I don't remember fighting in it, but I think I was gathering weapons, as well, so it could be a minor aspect.

I hope my memory doesn't play tricks on me and the information is enough to recognize it. Also, I'm not a native English speaker, so if anything I wrote is obscure or difficult to understand please ask me to clarify.

Thanks in advance!

Guys, I've looked everywhere and I still can't find this game. Please help. I'll give as much information as I remember.

So, it's a PS2 game where you're a fox maybe (can't remember). At the very least you're a talking animal and you're orange. You're a knight and you wear armor. The tutorial level is in a farm, after which you make your marry way on your adventure. Early on there's this bridge, wooden and there's something wrong with it (can't remember, just that I struggled with it). The game is an RPG and there are some fairies. There's this castle and much of the scenery is green. Please tell me this is enough to recognize the game.

I'm trying to remember an old game that was either on playstation one or two ( probably ps2).
What I remember is that its an action adventure game based on a dark medieval mythical setting most likely mature because of its gore content.

In the cinematic, I remember that there was an a war between humans and demonic minotaurs, and then the outcome show the minotaurs eating the humans flesh and fighting for it. Then the hero shows up (I think) where he looked big and buff with black long hair and sort of a big two handed sword. And I remember starting in a castle filled with demonic creatures and it was kinda dark like it was at night. And The hero was mostly like a lone warrior, i don't remember interacting with any other characters cause most were dead corpses

That's all I remember, I played it when I was still very young and I want to remember what its name was.
Bump plz!

Devil May Cry?
Haha no its not DMC it was set in older times like Medieval and it had some hack and slash but not DMC extreme hack and slash. also the game play felt kind of heavy and meaty.
Thank you for the suggestion :D
Its DOOM
Nope, as I said it is set in medieval/dark fantasy with magic and minatuars and the hero is like a black haired buff dude or something like that '' imagine jon snow but much more moody and angry''

But thanks for the suggestion

Hello, I'm looking a Japanese game with a gameplay like Platypus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yjNd6Cy1U8 but the villians were Animals, Insects and other nature things I believe or maybe just the first level, I'm not sure but maybe at first the "character" were witches, but in the game you can edit the playable characters and every enemy/attack/etc. I don't remeber if it had more than one "game" but I remember you can edit the characters or create new ones in a grid background edition tool. (sorry for my bad english :p)

I've got a good one. I don't remember much about it, aside from it was something we bought online and downloaded. It has graphics that were DOS quality (i.e. sprite 2D). I recall it being something about a school for witches, perhaps? I feel like the word Charm was in the title somewhere. I think some of the gameplay was doing things like chores and making potions and the like. Google has failed me, let's see if this thread can figure it out. The timeframe for when this happened would have been 2002-2003, as that's when we got our first computer, and we had AOL as the internet provider. Also, I, in my precarious youth, had... "borrowed" my mom's credit card information to get the game, which I recall as being I think $20-30. Got my ass whupped when she found out :'D
