I validated my account here just so I could post here- this is driving me absolutely insane and I'm starting to wonder if I imagined the game in question in a fever dream or something, since I really can't find any trace of it no matter how hard I look.

The game in question is a futuristic battle car game, with tiered power-ups that could be picked up and used to eliminate the competition. There were many different types of cars, and they had unique themes to them, so I don't think any of the cars looked the same.

So far as I remember it was for the original Xbox, but it could have also been for the PS2 or Dreamcast.

Please help. I have very few details so I'm sure this is going to be very challenging.

It was point and click adventure game from the early 90's (or 80's). I think you also had to type in commands as well. It took place in an abandoned house. The graphics were simple and mostly black and blue. It was point of view. I don't even remember the point of the game but for some reason I think the words "midnight or nightmare" were in the title. I remember often getting stuck in the one of the hallways as a wolf? kept appearing and I lost the game.

If you know this game from my explanation, you are amazing.

Hello ! I'm looking for a game, it was a lateral view and the type of gameplay was very similar to "Duke nukem" but graphics were a little bit better.
I remember that many weapons were hidden in the decor, there was some hidden rooms which can be discovered by placing the character neer the wall of the decor....
It's a PC game beetween 1995 and 2002 i think !

If you can find it, i'll be very thankful !

Mention of hidden rooms makes me think Wolfenstein 3D or Blake Stone. Is it either of those?

This has been bugging me for ages . And I would really like to see if I could figure the game out now.

When I was quite young, I was playing a game where in it, a female scientist/researcher and her team gets captured by an African tribe in the jungle. And you had to find a way to escape.

And the main characters featured were featured in similar games.
If anyone can find it, it would be a big help to me.

I am searching for a PS2 game.

It's a 3rd person game.
You are playing as a guy, he has a cape. I think his hair looks like Dante's from DMC
Throughout the game, you are playing on a place with alot of stone. Like almost everything is made of stone.
The guy had a sword and he rolls on the ground like Kratos from God of War, if I remember correctly.
You alse had alot of statues in the environment, some which changed in to monsters.

It was a really annoying game to play but it was extremely fun.

(It's not Shadow of Colossus.)

Hrm. Can you explain what you mean by "lateral view"? First person (seeing the game as if you are the character), third person (seeing it as if you're watching the character), birds-eye (from above)...I'm not entirely sure I'm parsing what lateral is in this case.

The game i'm looking for is this style of game: http://photos1.blogger.com/hello/49/6380/1024/rnd1.jpg
The objective was to collect all the gems to open the door to go to the next level. The main characteristic was that the character you control was a heart. When you died, the 8 squares surrounding you, became gems and you had to restart the level. It's a very old game. I've been looking for this game for a long time. I would be really happy, if somebody knew the name of the game. Thanks

One year later and still no answer so Here we go again ^^

I am searching for this game for hours now, this is my last option so please help me :S

Here some Information:

-It was on a 2 Disc demo collection of several sport games for the Playstation One !

-There were many boring and bad sport games on it like some race games a surfing game and so on...

-But there was one game which was different, it kind of was like a Futuristic Space Racing Game with Japanese Mechas

-You could choose different Characters which were anime like and they had different mechas or robots,
which also had different stats like strength, agility etc...

-The goal was to win the race obviously but you could also attack the other mechs with your own mech and i also think
through collecting items such as rockets and speed booster

-It was a Demo so there was no story or something like that, just the race with many different types of maps, one in space but some
also on different planets
-There were many different anime characters to choose and different mechs, i think also every character had a kind of biography

-Another hint is that the graphics were rather bad of this game and also of the other games on this collection

If someone knows the game or has any suggestion please answer :S

*I remembered that one dude had a giant robot which was pretty Op, also i believe the main character (first character u can choose) was red haired and the name started with R, i think.
Future Racer is the only game I can think of.
Yes, you are correct. Thats the game ! Finally thank you

So there was this slot machine game that I used to play on my grandma's computer when I was a kid. I think it was either a Windows 95 or Windows 97. This game had a green background (I think) and played the "Russian Dance" song from the Nutcracker on a loop. When you won some money, coins would bounce around on the screen for a few seconds.

All this time, I thought the game was called "Jackpot Jubilee" but I can't find it anywhere online. If you can find a video or screencap of it, I'd appreciate it for knowing that it actually exists. If you can find a download of the game, I will forever be in your debt.

Hello everyone, I've been trying to find a game that I had played a bit when I was like 4 or 5 years old. Soo it was a game for PC, it was a sci-fi sandbox 3D sidescroller; you were in a spaceship (or something like that I think), had many alien species that were placed in rooms which were initially locked... You could unlock those doors, and then the aliens would fight or befriend each other, depending on their behaviour... You could also customise the rooms, like for example, you could raise the water level in the room, add soil in and other stuff. In a way, you were like a god. It reminds me the Black and White series, but much older and didn't have much fighting (in a sense that you don't create an army and fight other gods).. Soo, if anyone can help me find me this game, or at least narrow down my search, I would really appreciate it.

Ah, a platformer! Alright. I'll have a look.

(Edit: Huh. I honestly am not at all sure...might it be a Commander Keen game? Though I think the graphics in those wouldn't be quite good enough...)

Hello! New here and I have a couple games that I need help finding the names of...

First game is an older pc 90s game (1993-1998?) It was just a demo on my computer and it was set in an old mansion with a gun as the pov and you have to kill a Frankenstein monster first, followed by a warewolf and you're just just running through this house/mansion and I remember it being dark outside and you have to run from all these monsters and have shoot them or else they get you and your character dies and game over, I remember there were skeletons that chase you outside to the rose garden and that's all I can remember.
Anyone know what game this is?

Second game is another computer game from the late 90s. It's a kids homework type of game with a boy and his dog going on adventures like old caves and you have to find the mystery and it's very cartoon looking. It's Kinda like a carman San Diego mystery game and it was suspenseful.

I don't know for sure, but it's probably one of these:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Western_video_games

You can click on the date tab at the top to sort them by year, but there only appears to be a few Western games from around 2001 on the PC, so it shouldn't be too hard.

You could also cross-reference the titles with a site such as http://www.mobygames.com/ to see screen shots and box art, which should help jog your memory and identify the game.
