Yeah, for the sake of my ego I was going to overlook that part...Disco Biscuit said:let me just tell you how monstrously old I feel at the phrase, "It's an extremely old game I played as a kid (around year 2001)"
Was it third person, or was it birds eye isometric?sinisterlemons said:Thank you for your responses but it's none of those games, I even checked every game on the sites you gave me but it's not those either. If i could add one more detail its that the game is in a third person pov, so its like a birdseye view from the top of the game.
Right?! It burns, oh god it burns! When I think "Really old game" I'm thinking... No it's not that .... The graphics were more simple (not pixelised but simple shapes)KaiYLowell said:Ah, a platformer! Alright. I'll have a look.MasterDesk said:The same view as duke nukem (2 dimensions) http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/dukenukem/images/b/b0/Dukenukem1.png/revision/latest?cb=20080105005302KaiYLowell said:Hrm. Can you explain what you mean by "lateral view"? First person (seeing the game as if you are the character), third person (seeing it as if you're watching the character), birds-eye (from above)...I'm not entirely sure I'm parsing what lateral is in this case.MasterDesk said:No it's none of those :/ the game i'm looking for has a lateral view ... And i think it was a shareware ! Any other idea ?KaiYLowell said:MasterDesk said:Hello ! I'm looking for a game, it was a lateral view and the type of gameplay was very similar to "Duke nukem" but graphics were a little bit better.
I remember that many weapons were hidden in the decor, there was some hidden rooms which can be discovered by placing the character neer the wall of the decor....
It's a PC game beetween 1995 and 2002 i think !
If you can find it, i'll be very thankful !
Mention of hidden rooms makes me think Wolfenstein 3D or Blake Stone. Is it either of those?
(Edit: Huh. I honestly am not at all sure...might it be a Commander Keen game? Though I think the graphics in those wouldn't be quite good enough...)
"The Dark Legions" an Age of Empires type of game?Disona said:Hi all, help me please.
I can't remember a game i played ten or more yers ago on PC.
It was either RTS (most likely) or RPG. View from the top.
All I remember is search in a forest for some strange blue spheres.
When you activate those sphere you hear a starnge echoed sound.
In that mission you are playing for one character (no team) on a horse.
Also there could be ships in other missions... don't remember.
