I can't remember the name of a 2D Mars colony strategy/simulation game played in Windows 98 around 1997-2001. It was essentially a 2D 1990's version of Sol 0. The game begins with player picking a colony location. A maximum of 4 colony modules can land. They can crash if the player picked a wrong location like mountains.

Could someone help me find the name of this jumbo pack of CD's from the late 90's, early 2000's?
The CD's were colorful PC disks that would have a variety of games, including Frogger and Theme Hospital.
One of the games in there was you playing a monk in a 64-bit style game where you ventured around and fought against various monsters like crows or birds. The music was really calming and the art style was typical sprites.

If anyone could help me find the name of either of these things, I'd be so grateful! Thank you!

I'm looking for a PC game late 90s early 2000s (I believe released after Grim Fandango) and hoping someone could help. I played only a demo I received with a game magazine.

Game is a point and click police detective game, set in the future (a la Blade Runner). Protagonist is a detective, bald and wears sunglasses. Can't really help with the story since I played only the demo, but someone was either kidnapped or disappeared.

Not Deux Ex, Dreamweb, Snatcher, Tex Murphy.

Hi guys!

I'm searching for an old point and click adventure game that I played on my mom's old laptop (somewhere between 95-99). I only remember parts of it, but i hope some of you have played with it :)

- The game takes place in a futuristic world, and it's in a cartoonish stlye, like the scummvm games
- You play with a guy who wears glasses and i think wears a white suit (not sure)
- You start in a place that looks like a construction site, and from there you can go to a subway station (in the toilet you got beaten up by some big guys, the train can run over you)
- There is an old house after that, where you get into an old apartment, where you can gather some stuff. I think there was an old lady you could talk to.
- The only "cinematic" i remember: You get into a flying car with a busty girl (she drives) and a big white dog. She brings you to an entrance of a futuristic mall (or some building). The entrance got a security robot-eye, that you can disable some way, but i think i only did it once :D
- In the mall (or some building) there are bunch of people moving, and i think that's where i got stuck.

Any help would be great :)
Sorry to quote it again, but it's bugging me too much :) It was not a big classic game for sure, i checked a lot of abandonware sites (at least 10), but no luck. Beneath a Steel Sky and Space Quest are not this game, but this one is like the hybrid of these two. Maybe a hint: it was preinstalled on a german notebook that my mom bought (used) in Germany.
Two years from my original post, and no clue what the game is....

Second time posting this... sorry about that, but I am searching for another game. it was a dice RPG where you had to explore builings (I might be a little confused about that). I remember that when i played this game there were 4-5 characters(? not sure, kinda confused) and one of them shooted brooms. anyways, idk if anything is wrong, but if u can help me, help is appreciated.

Hey all, not sure how active this thread still is, and my clues for the game I'm looking for the name of are very vague, but hoping for the best.

-I would say I played the game between the years of 1994-2000 but may have been released earlier.
-I remember the game being point and click.. at least, it was first person
-I remember the game taking place in a house/mansion
-I remember the game revolving around puzzles
-There were ways you could "die" if puzzles were done incorrectly
-I vividly remember a pool table puzzle, and possibly a floor trap or something to do with spikes or marbles

Honestly, that's all I have to go on. The game wasn't "scary" but definitely has a tense feeling to it.

Hoping someone can help, thanks!
The 7th Guest! If not that, its sequel, The 11th Hour!

Hey guys, i've been searching for this game for over 2 years now. The game was a top down RTS in the style of Age of Mythology and Age of empires. You could select between different kinds of monsters, one of them could build buildings that resembled huge alien eggs. I played it sometime during the very early 00's.

Please help! Looking for a game that was somewhat like Galaga as far as ship/aliens/shooting. Played it on a Mac in the early 2000s. You had a ship at the bottom of the screen that could only move L/R and you started with crappy guns and as you leveled up your guns upgraded and you could be shooting lots of things in different directions at once, and they were all different colors. There was a specifically cool one that arced around your ship on both sides. The bullets were little circles that you could hold down the button and they would constantly shoot. I can totally picture it in my head but can't find it anywhere!

Thank you in advance
"No Man's Land: Fight for your Rights!" (2003) is the first game I'd think of.

No dude, it's not that. It's a game from the '90ies and the graphics it's great. Also the hud of the game is white\grey and it's only based on the western times. I also remember that you have to build a "city"(in the first mission) and you start with only a barn and you can have only gold and wood for resources

I need help remembering a ps1 game name.
I remember that you start playing with a small pink or purple character ressembling a ball, the first boss was an octopus, I think, but I remember it had tentacles that would spin around the floor, and as I remember you fight against him in a castle.
You'd gain powers as you defeated the bosses.

Btw I really don't remember if the character was pink/purple or it was the octopus boss.

Bumping last week's thread since no replies

- About 10-15 years ago I remember playing a 3d space shooter games.

I think it was on windows 95.

It was arcade style - you looked behind your ship, moved it around the screen with your mouse and slowly waves of aliens would come and you had to shoot (mouse click) them while they moved around. If you couldn't hit them in time, they would fly towards you and if made contact with your ship you would die.

After a while you could get upgrades and then you would fight bosses. One of the upgrades is a bomb and when you right clicked it blew everything up on screen.

There was also this really rare powerup that I think I got once, which makes your ship spin round really quickly and send bullets everywhere for about 20 seconds, destroying everything.

The most striking search item I can think of is that after I few levels (I think level 2 but unsure) the game actually switches from being 3d to on it's side and the waves would come from the right in vertical lines.

There was no music from what I remember but the sound effects were quite eerie. The aliens would make all these strange sounds, and there was this computational style narrator who would say things if you got a powerup (Thing's like "power increased" but I don't remember exactly what he said).

I spent about an hour searching before I came here, and the closest picture to describe it is here - http://badgerheadgames.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/tapinvasionl6.png

Although it was much better graphics (as it was 3d) and there was nothing at the bottom (except your ship)

The game did have a score system and was very difficult (probably due to the 3d aspect), I never beat it nor got close.

i need help finding a game i played i guess 1998-2002 or so on windows 98 or windows ME. its with small tanks but u dont control them like driving, u click a point and they move there. there are no "humans" in it just tanks, robots and airplanes. u capture enemy base and they turn to ur base. u also build facilities for research and also gold production. the airplanes also take commands from requesting and clicking on a target. in a particular level u ave to hold enemy turrets[tanks] and wait 20min real time to get reinforcement. one level is on dessert, another on a snow area and the beginning is on a clear land. it had a rich graphics.

Hi guys, me and my friend are looking for a game we played on pc about 10-11 years ago.

I will try to describe it as minute as possible: The main character was an animal with 2 legs (I don't remember what it was) and its main quest was to kill other animals like ostrich, woodpecker and even dinosaur by pushing rocks, boulders, tyres and stoves (apparently). If you push the rocks into a dead-end/corner, you can crunch the rocks. After killing all the animals, we could pass to the next round. Also, the design looked like those Bomberman series.

That's all I can remember.

Please help me, me and my friend want to live those days again!
I've just remembered one more detail which is this game is a 2D game, hope it can make my description clearer

Hey guys, I've been trying to find this old game my brother and I used to play back in the 90s. we played it on Win95 I think and it was a top down type game in which you moved on a grid based system. I know one song from the game was Beethoven's Turkish March. I know there was one level in which you were surrounded on eight sides by hearts that you had to hit and they moved along that same axis, but you had to push them into their slot to beat the level and they would even bounce off walls. I think it was the last level in the game. I also remember enemies that moved as you did, though maybe not in the same direction or opposite directions. There was also a feature that had the game beat the levels for you as you watched your character move about on his own.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There was this game i used to play. You got a character, and he would have to pick up a girls and have to sleep with one of them by the end. He would have a limited amount of days. He had to work to pay for stuff, like entrance to the club, and drinks. He could take the legal work which paid less, or illegal work, but that had a risk of getting caught and going to prison for sometime(decreasing amount of days). He would interact with girls and you had to select what he would say. Anyone remember?

Hi, looking for an arcade game I played back in the 90s on a coin-operated machine. The main character was a young guy that had to jump and avoid obstacles. After some levels you'd receive new characters all with somewhat other abilities. There were four in total. I remember only the old man that was very slow but could float the longest in the air after making a jump and a muscular guy that of course was the strongest. At the end of each level one had to defeat some sort of boss/challenge. The playing field was all different kinds of structured interiors that you had to float through. Game over if you touched the ground. Anyone any idea?

I remember a game about an Italian plumber that jumps around a lot, what's it called? JK...

There was a game with 3 heroes, dwarf, man, woman who battle goblins and skeleton things. A side scrolling beat em up like Double Dragon...

So I have wondered about this old game I played on my dads old computer (Im pretty sure it was a 1995-1998) but in this game you were like a puffball and there was like a field of blocks you would jump around on and I think you would have to jump on all the blocks as the objective of the game. In the game I think when you would get to boss levels the boss would be like a giant angry cloud above the field of blocks. Thats all I know I hope you can help me figure out what its called.
