I also remember one thing, it is a pc game and I last played it 5 years ago.

It is a war game, like warcraft in story mode, where you have to build your own village or barracks.

There is also a color coding, for example, you were the blue team and your enemy's color is red.

I think it started with a farmer with a sombrero or farmer's hat. They plant crops and harvest, while the other one get water using buckets.

They can be train by putting them on barracks, to be a soldier, on archery, to be an archer.

As far as I know, there is a combination like from barracks, then to the stable, will make a knight in a horse. I'm not sure about these but I think if you put a archer in archery again will make them carry a shotgun, well I'm not sure about everything.
I also play it offline.

That's all what I remember, hope you can help me know the title.

Hi, I remember 2 PC games I played, like 10 years ago (?). I don't remember much and I don't think those games were very popular.
1 - You are really small in a room (like de_rats map in counter-strike) and there is a robot (I think) which made sounds. I remember it was quite scary for me.
2 - Car game in an arena/stadium, multiple cars try to get to bright points which randomly spawn I think. The terrain was not smooth, there were little hills and pits.

Reposting since i have not seen any replies:

Hey all,
I had to make an account since i went through ~100 different pages trying to find this game without success.
Reason i am looking for it is, that i could pass the name of the game to a girl who has been searching for it a long time.

The details of the game are following:

- PC (Windows XP)
- One of those "demo/trailer" games
- ~2002-2004 was when she played it
- A boy who jumps around in a jungle/desert (in the demo's 5 stages)
- Pretty much like Mario so you can move forward/backward/jump
- Platform jump/Puzzle jump

Thank you for helping me already! I know someone knows this game since we have all played these lovely demo games. I still got a few cd's hanging around in my closet..

Bumping last week's thread since no replies

- About 10-15 years ago I remember playing a 3d space shooter games.

I think it was on windows 95.

It was arcade style - you looked behind your ship, moved it around the screen with your mouse and slowly waves of aliens would come and you had to shoot (mouse click) them while they moved around. If you couldn't hit them in time, they would fly towards you and if made contact with your ship you would die.

After a while you could get upgrades and then you would fight bosses. One of the upgrades is a bomb and when you right clicked it blew everything up on screen.

There was also this really rare powerup that I think I got once, which makes your ship spin round really quickly and send bullets everywhere for about 20 seconds, destroying everything.

The most striking search item I can think of is that after I few levels (I think level 2 but unsure) the game actually switches from being 3d to on it's side and the waves would come from the right in vertical lines.

There was no music from what I remember but the sound effects were quite eerie. The aliens would make all these strange sounds, and there was this computational style narrator who would say things if you got a powerup (Thing's like "power increased" but I don't remember exactly what he said).

I spent about an hour searching before I came here, and the closest picture to describe it is here - http://badgerheadgames.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/tapinvasionl6.png

Although it was much better graphics (as it was 3d) and there was nothing at the bottom (except your ship)

The game did have a score system and was very difficult (probably due to the 3d aspect), I never beat it nor got close.

I don't think anyone will know this one.

I remember VERY little of it, so sorry if the details aren't exact.
I think I played this game back when I was like 5 or 6 years old, but I have no idea when it was made. It was for the PS1. I don't remember what you had to do in the game, but it was some sort of RPG that included a bit of platforming, where you controlled a kid(?) (or two of them, pretty sure they were two). Sometimes you had to fight monsters, or some similar stuff. Its music was somewhat creepy (I do remember that this game gave me nightmares, but I doubt it was intended to be scary). The thing I remember the most is that there was a stage where it was night time, raining, and you had to jump through pillars of some sort.

This information is really speculative, but I'll be glad if someone tried to link me to an at least similar game.

Is it perhaps in the Arc the Lad series?

EDIT: My brother remembered the game, it was Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader :)

Hi, hopefully someone here will be able to help me. I was playing The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsign the other day and it reminded me of a game I played as a child.
It was a PC game but I do not remember much of the story, I know the game was set in medieval times, I vaguely remember there was Spanish inquisition involved and that magic/spirits/etc. was outlawed. When starting the game I think there were races to choose from, or perhaps just classes, I'm not entirely sure. I definitely remember that you could pick a guardian spirit of sorts that would accompany you on your adventure and each of them was a different colour and had their own personality - one was red, one blue and the other purple-ish (this one was quite sassy if I remember correctly). Unfortunately I don't remember much more, it's been over 12 years since I've played it.

If that rings a bell for anyone I would be very grateful if they could help me. I will love you forever!

Hi everybody!
At start, I would like tell sorry for my English.
I register on escapist only because of that game:
I play it on PC. It was 3D platformer/arcade running game with humanoid frogs as playable characters. Player could select one of them: green frog, red frog, and short, blue turtle or penguin (not sure). It was maybe only demo, because that animals stand on columns, and a lot of them doesn't have any animal..

After it, player could select "map" or just "road".
Roads were built by color-squares. The animal just run forward, and player can only change route (left or right) or probably jump through holes. A lot of squares had effects (Animal can change direction by 180 degree or even 90).
Road was suspended in space similar to sky (or something like sky, background was just blue).

Again, I'm really sorry for my bad English... Can anyone help?

Hi!
I hope someone among you can help me.
I've been looking for a long time for a game I was used to play around 25 years ago. I played it on an Olivetti PC (8086 or 80286 processor, I can't remember, but maybe this can help you to figure out the game).
I can't recall it in details. I guess it was a platformer like Donkey Kong because it had a guy trying to escape from something. Each screen had different floors all made of bricks. The floors were connected by stairs. In order to escape, the little guy :) was able to use fire and melt the bricks of the floor he was in and thus falling to the floor below.
I think the avatar was white. What I remeber clearly was the colour of the bricks/floors: cyan.
I spent so many hours playing it that it's almost embarassing I can't figure out the name!
Thank you for your help!

Okay I remember playing this game when I was younger, and I'm pretty sure it was on PS1 but you could choose to play between one of two little kids,a brother or his sister.I think that the brother used a teddy bear as a weapon and the sister used a candle as her weapon.
It's been so many years since I've played it so I can't really remember much about it but any help you can give me would be great!

I remember a game about an Italian plumber that jumps around a lot, what's it called? JK...

There was a game with 3 heroes, dwarf, man, woman who battle goblins and skeleton things. A side scrolling beat em up like Double Dragon...
My guess would be Golden Axe [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1v7VL4P4tbI], in one of its many versions.
Ah yes, Golden Axe sounds like the one! Thanks :)

Nope, definitely not that one. Now that I think of it, it wasn't really an RPG, and it was 3D, if that helps at all. Thanks anyways. :)
EDIT: Someone already got it, it was 40 Winks. ^-^
