There is this game that I'm going crazy trying to find, I don't remember alot about it, but I don't think its very old. I remember It was like a digging or mining game something like that and the character I played with was like a guy wearing a helmet and I could kill monsters with rocks after I dig under the rocks so it falls on them and every level would have a password, I remember one of the level's passwords is Hurry and one is emerald, its definitely not an action game. I would appreciate it if someone would help me with that. If you found out could you please send me an email at [email protected] or [email protected]

Hello there.... I am at my wits end trying to figure out more about a game I played sometime around the turn of the millenia... It was a dreamcast game that I played no later than 2001. It was in english, and IIRC it involved 3d gameplay where you ran around in a suit of some sort of armor jet gliding through a canyon and later through some sort of organism (later level) while acquiring lock-ons on various baddies and blasting them with assorted weaponry. I vaguely remember there being some sort of rating system in place for how fast you could complete each level and how thoroughly you did so, awarding you more currency for weapon and armor upgrades. I just can't recall what it was called!!!

The key features to the game play was the frantic pace, the lock on system, and the ability to jet-dash multiple times. does this ring any bells?!?
Hmm - I was a pretty big Dreamcast fan but this doesn't ring a bell. Could it be Charge 'N Blast, or Bangai-O? Both feature mech suits.

I am looking for a Sega Genesis game that seems like Front Mission. Only the game is an action game that you pilot a tank like robot machine and can customerize your parts, You always fight on the roads of a city like environment. The screen of the game is digonal side view, just like populous kind of camera view. You seek out enemies robots and destroy them to clear the stage. There are virious weapons you can custom into your robot tank. flame thrower, machine guns, missles....etc. There is a slo a map screen in your inventroy screen and status screen when you press start if I am correct.

I think the name resemble to words of Road or tech or tank or robot, which I really can't remember.
Cyborg Justice?

There was a vehicular combat game in the mid to late '90s where you drove a tank around in an environment that was somewhat reminiscent of Tron. I remember very distinctly that at the beginning of each level a computerized voice would go "Entering Arenerrrrr!". The fact that the word "arena" was never pronounced correctly in the game is very memorable for some reason. Trying to figure out what game that was has bugged me over the years.
Pretty sure this was Assault Rigs.

1. First game is sidescroller. Gameplay is similar to Mario, but it's not any mario game. I dont remember that the character had a weapon or something. The goal is to run and jump through the level and collect bags with $ sign. Under some circumstances you may have a motorbike. With motorbike you are much faster and break through the blocks. I think you can lose the bike or die if you hit some harder objects. Maybe the end of the level you can buy items, I'm not sure.

What I surely remember is that there was something like bosses, that you have to beat on rock-paper-scissors game at least two times to proceed.
Sounds like Alex Kidd in Miracle World. That was a Master System game, though.

Count me among those who signed up just to have a game identified.

So, it was an Apple II game, I believe. Perhaps it was a Commodore 64/128 game. I hardly remember anything about it except I think it was an arcade game, maybe a side scroller? You were navigating through a haunted? house and one of the main antagonists were these jack-o-lanterns that would bounce around and laugh. Any ideas?

I remember back in like 2003 there was this old computer game and it took place in like a kids room, and you can click different things like a board game and it would have checkers or snakes and ladders. If you clicked on the mirror you could customize your avatar. There were some AI that you would play with, one of them was an alien named Roswell or something. Anyone know or remember this game?

My son (11) has had a sudden flashback of a game he used to play with his dad and cannot for the life of him remember what its called. Much googling has led me here, and I though I might just put it out there -- you never know. It was a PC game. His description of the game is that the character is like an army or combat type man. You start on a tiny rock, there is a tent with people in it? (seems to be significant in his memory). The character goes around smashing things. It can hop in a bubble and the bubble has spikes on it, and you can roll over monsters and kill them. If you roll over a big bump or rough ground the bubble will pop.
(I've edited original character description. After some discussion with his dad, he was getting two different games confused.)

Hi guys! I've been looking for a PC-game for a while now and hope you can help me - although there's not much I remember. I don't know if it was a download-file or a CD, but it was on Windows 95. You played as a little red creature with big yellow eyes (I think that creature wore a light blue hat / cap). That creature had to pass a maze-like level and collect some things (for extra points...but I don't even remember what those things were) on the way to the goal. Yeah, that's it.... As I said, not much information at all, but I hope someone here knows what I'm talking about (-;
Still haven't found it, soo....bump ^^"

YES! That's the game! Just as I remember! ^_^ Back then I could not play it, I'll catch up thanks to you! Thank you very very very very very much! ^^

Now if someone can find and the second game.... (^^,)

-------------
2. The second game is also sidescroller. Youre character has an energy bar, I think. You are a robot or armored guy or something similar with a short laser gun and you move always left or always right depending on the level. You are in a building with many floors. Each floor is a level. You can proceed through the levels with an elevator, but in the beginnig most floors are locked. You have to beat a strange enemies, aliens perhaps. I remember one kind of enemies that appears surprisingly from the floor with this sharp claws. Also you have to buy or collect more powerful weapons to beat the highest levels or you are doomed.

One of the weapons was called "light gun". One of the floors is pitch black and you have to shoot with that gun to give some light for a very short period of time, so to proceed, you have to shoot constantly.
In the game there is no graphic noticeable differences when you hold a different gun. This is confusing because you must choose the weapons from a separate menu, and because in some cases you have to go back to previous levels where you have to use a Light Gun, if forget it active, you may die on higher level.
--------------------

PS: WOW!!!!! Now I see that first game was on Sega Master System!!! For 15 - 20 years the memories not only have faded, but also have changed! Thats why when I looked in the NES section I could not find anything! I saw the both games the same evening. This means that the second game is also for Master Sytem. Knowing that, now I have a real chance to find it! ^^

PPS: Yes! I found the second game too! It's Sega Master System's "Cyborg Hunter" a.k.a "Borgman"(japanese version).
Batou667, you helped me a lot! If you ever come to Bulgaria, you will have from me a bottle of kaysieva rakiya :p

Hello, reposting.
I`m looking for a very old game, somehwere from betwean 1990-2000. It`s a PC, 2D sidescroller where you could play as 1 of the 3 classes - mage, archer and warrior(no not Trine, Trine is 2009). So what you did is, you had to walk through the dungeons collecting gems and fighting different kinds of foes, doing some mediocre platforming, you could also upgrade your characters skills if i`m not mistaking. And as far as I remember, I haven`t played this game in 10, or more, years, the final boss was some large skeleton with a crown.
The heroes all looked like dwarfs or maybe even Vikings, but it`s not any of the "Lost Vikings" games.
And yet again, if my memory doesn`t fail me miserably, the executable was called dwarf.exe or dwarf2.exe (cause that was what it looked like on my desktop at the time, cause I spent so much time in front of it)
Also if this helps, the style was a bit cartooney and it`s certainly not "Golden Axe" or "Gauntlet Legends"

Hey everyone =) I have two games that I need help identifying! They are older computer games that my dad put on my computer when I was really little. I THINK they are DOS games, I use to play them on my Tandy computer in the early 90s (lol, yeah, a Tandy computer). He is the only person that would know what they are but he passed away so I can't ask him, grrr! >.< hehe

First game: Early 90's, first person shooter, you play a guy running around a scientist's lab or something (big place). There's good and bad scientists, and aliens you kill. You collect access cards to go through different doors I think but I'm not sure. I just remember access cards. You have to kill the main scientist. -it looks kinda similar to Wolfenstein 3d

Second game (a LOT more vague, sorry): early 90's, DOS game I believe. Played it on my Tandy lol. You play this old man I believe, could be a wizard. I think he is bald...may have a beard but not sure. I remember one part in the beginning i'm in a castle's ruins collecting gems or jewels or something. I THINK the guy you play as is wearing a robe or a cloak but not sure (could be blue or purple?). Also the screen view is looking down...not side scroller.

Help please! This is driving me crazy! Thanks!
Game 1 : System Shock ?
Game 2 : Mystic Towers

Hi there my potential heroes, i've been trying to find the title of this game for a couple of days now but no luck, this is the first time google lets me down, so here i am. This was the second PC game i've ever played, i was 11 years old back then (2000), so i'll do my best.

To begin with, it was a point&click sci-fi adventure game for windows '98(maybe made for '95) set on a space station or some science facility(at least for the beginning, i never got far into it). The graphics were 3D, dark and realistic. The most distinctive thing about the game was that when it was showing a cutscence of any kind it wasn't showing it in the full screen, but it cut it animation by animation in smaller frames in a picture-in-picture fashion. I think the main character was a bald guy and the enemies were humans in red shiny armor that looked like the sith troopers from SW KotOR(not sure about that). In "combat", you were hiding behind some obstacles and used your laser pistol(very annoyingly repetitve SFX) to kill the enemies who randomly popped up from their cover. The BGM was space-y and ominous but not scary. I don't remember any story details, but i remember that there weren't any conversations or any kind of NPC becides the enemies.

Since i didn't manage to find it by now, i guess it means it was a bad game that didn't deserve any fame. Too bad i never got past the first few stages(there was more into it than just that... right?), but after i got Metal Gear Solid and Crimson Skies, i never touched it again. I hope one of the game's developers is lurking around here, 'cause i doubt anyone else can find this. But please feel free to prove me wrong. Thanks for reading!
