I made an account just to post here. I'm trying to find a somewhat older game, probably between 1995 and 2008. It was kind of a story/hunting/shooter game, and a few pieces of some of the missions i remember are...'
1: In what i believe is the first mission, you had to find some older guy's grandkids or nephew/niece who were lost in a forest.
2: The player had to defend said older guy by shooting wolves that were coming across a bridge with a rifle.
3: In i remember to be the last part of said first mission, i think you had to fight a bear in a cave.

4: The player boarded a plane with a woman, but the plane ran out of fuel, or was damaged, and you had to bail out over a desert.
5: Once the player had found the woman mentioned above, you had to defend her from a fairly large group of lions that came in waves.
That's "Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2" (2005).

Hi there,
i'm trying to remember a game and its driving me nuts, because i can't remember the name.
What i still remember is the story:

Nelson(?) Rockefeller builds a giant station in the Arctis (sometimes in the 1980's) and wants to build a better world in there, while humanity is going downhill. You are some guy, who gets an invitation to live and work on the station there.
You need to work, so you can get money, which in turn you need for food (because if you dont eat regulary, you pass out etc.) and for better living quarters.
Your jobs were mini-games like scrubing algae from the bottom of the station or catching fish (usually involving wasd).
Also the game had extensive dialogue and characters (the bed talked with you...).
It was all in first person.
I believe i played it in the late 90's/early 2000's

So does anyone remember said game?

i have a PC game that i dont remember the name of
i remember i played it arownd 2004-2007 but i think its older
there are 3 races you start off whit humans you have a jetpack and your main character looks like a halo character,
after compeating some missions you get to play whit naga (the second race)
its 3d not perfect graphics something class "quake 3"
im not 100% shure if it was a fps or action categorized,im allso not 100% on this: i think it was only 1 word and it starts whit A and finishes whit S (as multiple, manny).

And one ps1 game :
fighting you go and fight mobs and on the end of each lvl you fight a boss,4 characters to chose from, last few levels your in a submarine trying to stop the bad guys to destroy the world,
on the before last boss you brake her leg and she crows to a laptop and starts some cowntdown ,than she dies and you fight the last boss her man.
first boss is infront of a fountan, there are 2 more gays whit him and hes realy big.
is similar to fighting force series but its not the game.
probably i played that in 1999-2002.

I'm really starting to think that this game doesn't exist..HELP!!!
So I know that it was on either the PS1 or N64 but it was a fighting game & the only character I really remember was this crazy bald guy with a staff? When you won while playing him, he would do different things. One of them was where he crossed his arms over his chest (like a mummy), fall back then came back up & had his hands by his head/ears (like "moose antlers"?) & would make a funny face.

Hey guys,

Does anyone remember a text based turn based kingdom building browser game from the late 90s early 2000s. It was a fantasy medieval setting with over 10 races such as trolls, elves, high elves, drawves, and humans. each with negatives and positives in different areas like exploring, farming, attack, defense...there were about a dozen different stats. You were given a turn every few minutes with a max of 250 or so. You decided what actions to complete from farming, exploring, attacking, or doing magic spells. There were only 3-4 unit types. Footman, catapults, mages, maybe ships.you could also build towers for more defense. You could join an alliance giving you unlimited attacks on other alliances. If you weren't in an alliance you could only attack others for a limited amount of turns. Successful attacks were based on some algorithm with type of unit, magic spell boost and towers. There was a public market were people sold grain they farmed. The actual browser was very simple, no fancy graphics just straight text, black and white.

For some reason I feel like tristel was part of the name... Maybe age of tristel or something.
After much searching I have finally recovered it. I was looking for this game too. It is called Utopia, and it is still up and running http://utopia-game.com/shared/

Ok, im looking for a 2D game I played I long time ago I only remember very little bits and pieces.

-I know its 2D and I think it was played on the browser and I remember it might have had a loading screen that was Shockwave player or Flash.

-I dont remember the year but I remember it was back just before we upgraded from dial-up to broadband.

-You control a little space ship, I think it was shaped kinda like a triangle.

-I think it had low gravity or none at all and you couldn't touch the walls

-You could turn your ship left or right and thrust forward in the direction your ship faces, but i think there was no reverse, and there might have been friction so your ships speed slowed over time.

-You had to fly your ship through the level and it had some obstacles that blew you around which made it had to pass through

-I think on some walls there were saw blades spinning

-I remember at some stage in the level you had to pick up this block/cube thing and place it on a button or something to open a gate i think

-I also remember a website but im not sure if thats where I played or got the game from. It had a bunch of free windows pc games, mostly demos, that which you could download filtered as a list, on the end of each game title there was a gold coin and it was spinning. (I know I downloaded "Star Wars Episode 1 Racer" demo from that website, good times...)

I really want to find this game again and play it because its been on my mind a lot lately and its bugging me lol

If theres any other details you need just let me know. Thanks alot!!!!!!!

Okay, having trouble trying to find this game. So heres some bullet points at the top of my head.

- PC Game Circa 90's to 00's
- Detectiveish mystery type game
- Top Down Perspective
- Main gameplay location is in a Mansion during a 'Party'
- You can walk outside and through the mansion
- I believe you are trying to find out who died (Can't fully remember plot)
- Same concept of the "Escape" type games, where it's point and click on items, combine items, use items, and i believe there is an item menu on the bottom of the screen
- You would have to 'talk' with guests to get clues or tips or useless info.
- Main character is White Male (I say this so you can rule out Nancy Drew? lmao and because it might help in narrowing thoughts)
- When you go in a particular room, there are several spaces where there is like acid or something that hurts the main character if you step on it
- (bit of a reach, so don't be held on this) i have a feeling the game started with the letter C or contained Case in it.
- It was included on a double (maybe Triple) disc PC Game Volume. (If you can find this out too, that would be an ultimate bonus, it included a derby game and racing games and other stuff from 90's - 00's)

If i remember anything else, ill add. Thanks.
Bumping my question
Anybody have a thought on this?

Looking for an old game, hoping people know it.

-probably played it in PC using SNES Emulator or something

-4 characters (where the other 3 were just following you and if you pressed a certain button, the front goes to back and the 2nd one becomes first like e.g. 1-2-3-4 2-3-4-1 3-4-1-2 4-1-2-3 just like rotating)

-characters are like mage, acolyte, and 2 others I can't remember
-when achieving certain levels (almost like ragnarok online) where you start off as acolyte, it branches of to 2 other jobs e.g. acolyte = cleric/priest(am not sure with the priest) magician = wizard/(something else can't remember much)

-it's an RPG style where you first choose a character then the other characters would just come in later (wherein i remembered i chose magician to be my main character then the other 3 in the story i helped then they accompanied me and such)
it's more like a hack and slash type rather than battle mode style.

-it's a 2D type but you go up and down on the area like: you can move diagonally, up, down, left or right while fighting the monsters but in each area your character is only either facing left or right.

I wish I had more info but if you could name a few games that sounds like this, I'll try and search it in google and look at the images if it is the one I am looking for. Could sure use a huge help as I've been looking for this game over 4 years now and played it around 10+ years ago.

If you know anything, please message me in Facebook: "Yap Kee Bin" as I might not be able to see it here from time to time.

Thank you in advance.

I'd say the first game might be "Giants: Citizen Kabuto" (2000).

Some of the details don't match (mainly the character count), but that might be Seiken Densetsu 3. It pops up in the thread from time to time, folks seem to have hard time remembering the name.

The graphics are quite the same but it's not the one I was looking for, what I do recall is... There are 4 characters and they follow the character you are using and sometimes help attack when you attack and you can switch to any of them as explained in the above. Also when they change jobs like e.g. acolyte(let's just say the basic color of clothes are white) then changes job to either cleric(blue) or priest(green), their clothes don't change but only the color and once you advance to that class, am not sure if you can change it again till the next job change maybe. They move like a snake where they follow the head and can be switched for each character has different skills and depends on what you want to combo their skills into. Also am not sure if it was SNES or other type of emulator. I played it around 13 years ago or so I think so it should have already been made before 2003. I hope what I'm saying makes sense cause I really want to play it. Thanks for the replies.

PS: after posting the above, I looked into what you said earlier and I found these 2 in the lower left oddly familiar so am gonna try this. (magician on the lower left and acolyte in the lower mid) http://pixelartus.com/post/137025570411/seiken-densetsu-3-aka-secret-of-mana-2

Snes game. Adventure-Puzzle (like the Monkey Island games). Medieval setting. Main character and most/all NPCs are anthropomorphized dragons.

This may have been posted before but this thread has 703 pages that I'm not willing to sift through :p

I have been wracking my brain for hours trying to remember this arcade game...

It was a fantasy side scroll / platormer / rpg. I seem to remember it having 3 or 4 "classes" much like gauntlet. And you could climb vines and such. You could buy potions and weapons and armor and such. You might have even been able to level your character in some crude manner. The graphics I'm remembering are probably early to mid 90s with lots of green (trees, forests, etc). It had a definite start and end. I think the rogue character was female but can't swear to it.

Think it had a one word title too...

That's about the only things I can remember about it aside from that I spent a LOT of money on it to finish it.

Well my request kinda... got overshadowed so I'll repost it here:

A friend of mine was looking for this game for a long time and I am helping him a lot. Here is what he remembers.

1) He remembers playing this game during the 2000s (2005 to be exact).
2) The cover of the game was of a woman riding a dragon while holding a man's hand.
3) The game is isometric, 2.5D graphics like Diablo. And it also plays like Diablo a bit.
4) The main character is a bald guy and he starts the game in a cell.
5) He's not sure if the game is a PC game or a reboot.

That's all he remembers. We need all the help we can get to find this game.

Hello all, looking for a bit of help after harboring this quest for around 10 years.

So the game may have been a demo, on PC I believe using a keyboard and mouse. The bit I remember showed only the arm of your character, sometimes with a handgun, mostly in black and white. It was set in a basement/ maze. There was a trapped section that would turn everything colored for a while. Various tools/ weapons to pick up and the most iconic part of the game, you shot big smileys that came out at creepy occasions. It had very simple bricks for walls and environment lines, that's about all I remember for now. Thank you eternally for your help!!
